This Friday through Sunday, September 21-23, the 54th Annual Festival of Art will take over Crescent Avenue right across from Avalon Bay. Put on by the Catalina Art Association, this weekend-long event is a highlight every September for both local residents and visitors alike. Local and visiting artists will be selling everything from Catalina-themed paintings and sculptures to handcrafted jewelry. In addition to the more than 60 artists selling their works of art, there will also be a popular and fun local children’s art show on Wrigley Stage right in the center of the action. Here’s a fun fact: the annual festival is one of the longest running events on Catalina Island, as well as one of the largest. Whether you simply stroll and browse or find a work you love and purchase, it’s a great weekend event for all!
CIVR is a proud sponsor of the 54th Annual Catalina Festival of Art.
