Two Harbors, at the Island’s remote West End, offers plenty of Catalina activities, including hiking, kayaking and scuba diving, as well as mountain biking, snorkeling and good old fashioned relaxing. Each year, this unique Southern California destination also offers some irresistible Catalina events. Here are just a few of the upcoming things to do in Two Harbors on Catalina Island.
Drink wine: Scheduled for Saturday, June 4, the Two Harbors Summer Wine Festival promises an afternoon of fine wine, great food and live music. Tickets are $45 per person and are available by clicking here.
Go to the dogs: Dogs both large and small compete in several fun-loving categories to crown the Yacht Dog at the Two Harbors Yacht Dog Show on Saturday, June 25. The spectator-friendly main event starts at 1p.m. at the Two Harbors main beach.
Celebrate the 4th on the 2nd and the 3rd: Catalina Island has long had a tradition of two Independence Day celebrations, including a double dose of fireworks. This year Two Harbors Fourth of July celebration begins on July 2 with the Children’s Festival from 10 a.m. to noon followed by the Dinghy Parade from 2 to 3 p.m. Two Harbors Fourth of July fireworks will happen on July 3 at 9 p.m.
