Concerts on Catalina Island rock the summer
Summer on Catalina Island brings a full slate of great music and live concerts, thanks to the Live at Descanso Beach concert series and the always popular Catalina Summer Concert Series. Both series are sponsored by Catalina Island Vacation Rentals, along with several other local sponsors and bring world-class musical talent to the island all summer long. The next three concerts are not to be missed:
Catalina music fans won’t want to miss the next upcoming free Avalon concert, the Avalon Musician Review featuring the Catalina All-Stars. With top local musicians as well as some returning favorites and surprise guests, this concert is a can’t-miss experience for Catalina residents and visitors alike. The concert hits Wrigley Stage at 6 p.m. on June 23. A beer garden will be set up nearby for those who would like an adult beverage or two.
Popular ‘90s alternative rockers Toad the Wet Sprocket and Rusted Root will take the stage in Descanso Beach on July 8 at a ticketed event sure to get the popular Catalina beach club rocking.
Later in July, the music scene returns to Wrigley Stage in Avalon for the Xceptional Tribute to the Stones, a free homage to one of Britain’s greatest bands. Mark your calendars for July 23.
