Easter on Catalina Island offers something for everyone
With its wealth of family activities, unique location and island ambiance, Catalina Island is an ideal destination for Easter. Catalina Island Easter activities include things to do in both Avalon and Two Harbors.
The Spring Art Fair and Craft Festival will bring dozens of artists and artisans to Avalon April 14 to 16. Vendors will display – and sell – their creations in booths set up on Crescent Avenue, along Avalon’s picturesque waterfront.
Kids – and kids at heart – will want to experience the Community Easter Egg Hunt on April 16. The egg hunt is held at Descanso Beach at 9 a.m. and ends quickly – you don’t want to be late or you’ll miss it.
Many of the restaurants in Avalon will offer special menus for Easter weekend, including dinner and brunch.
In Two Harbors, Easter lasts all weekend long with hat-decorating and a hat parade followed by a West End potluck on Saturday and then an egg hunt, visit from the Easter Bunny and brunch buffet on Sunday.
