This beautiful two-story, custom-built Avalon home is just a short block from the beach, shopping, and more. You will find Catalina tile and murals throughout this home, as well as an open great room style main floor, including a custom gourmet kitchen with a center island, granite counter tops, all stainless steel appliances, and a gas chef’s stove. All three bedrooms, with ceiling fans and televisions, are located on the second floor. The first bedroom has a Queen bed, as well as the laundry closet. The second bedroom, an office for the home’s owners, has a double sofa sleeper. The third bedroom is the master suite with a Cal King bed and large flat panel TV, opens onto a spacious outside deck with patio furniture and a built in natural gas barbecue, fridge and sink for private morning breakfasts or evening dining. One ¾ bath is located on the main level, a second is located on the second floor, and a third is in the master suite (no bath tub). Just one visit will make this your new favorite Avalon home to return to again and again! 1307 sq. ft.
This property rents on a nightly basis during the non-summer seasons (2 night minimum, holidays and selected dates excepted) and on a weekly basis (Sunday to Sunday) in summer (mid-June through Labor Day). Rates vary by week and are subject to change. Rates do not include one-time cleaning and linen fee, 12% City of Avalon occupancy tax, and processing fees.

My first time in Catalina Island was amazing! We stayed in this beautiful home located on 203 Descanso ave., this home has it all. All you need to bring is your cloths the rest in on the house. We totally felt in love the moment we opened the door. It's perfect because everything is walking distance to the beach, markets, shops, restaurants, casino, pier, etc. We totally encourage you to rent this amazing house, and enjoy your stay as we did.

A group of 4 other women and I rented this beautiful home for our trip to run the Catalina Half Marathon. This place was absolutely perfect for us and a 2 minute walk from everywhere we needed to go! It had a nice open kitchen/living room area which was great for us to cook dinner and hang out. All of the rooms were pretty much as expected - just a little smaller then they looked in the pictures. Other than that, I have nothing but wonderful things to say about the home. In regards to Catalina Island Vacation Rentals...From day 1 of working with them I was very impressed. Everyone I spoke to was incredibly friendly, helpful and worked with our schedule as we were at the mercy of the Ferry arrival and departure times. I would definitely consider renting this home again, and regardless, I will be using Catalina Island Vacation Rentals for all future stays!

The experience with the staff from inquiry through check out is exceptional. They always take the extra step to make you feel special. I've been leasing units for years with the same great experience. The unit at 203 Descanso was perfect. I had stayed there in previous years. We'll definitely return.

This home was really nice, well decorated, comfortable, lots of fans (it was hot) and close to everything. My family had a great time & we will definitely rent this house again. My girls complained of a lumpy sofa-bed mattress & one day a guy showed up to replace it without us even asking. He did tell us they had a lot of complaints so they were just waiting for the new one to arrive. But we thought it was a heavenly gift. Good job Civr.

I originally booked 116 Maiden Lane for a 3 day family vacation. When we arrived we were very dissipointed with the accommodation. My wife and I decided to tough it out but after several plumbing,heating, Cleanliness and electrical issues it was obvious this place would ruin Our trip. The following morning we returned to the rental office with Our concerns and complaints the manager immediately moved us To the Descanso property. The new property was what we originally Expected. Fantastic location,modern, clean, and very comfortable. The Descanso property was fantastic and it really saved our trip. The Property is a bit pricey but well worth it.

We loved our stay at 203 Descanso. Conveniently located a 1 1/2 blocks from beach & town, it was a great home base for our large family of 14. We had a second house on Catalina but Descanso was home base. The kitchen and living room provided ample space for our gatherings, and the upstairs deck was a great spot for happy hour. We loved the decor and feel of this home. Note the fold out bed was not comfortable so really only comfortable sleeping for 4.
