This well decorated home (lower level of duplex) is great for families. The spiral staircase takes you to the master bedroom and bath upstairs; all other rooms are on the first level. You will find king beds in the upstairs bedroom and one downstairs bedroom. The third bedroom has six bunk style twin beds. This home has a den with wet bar and a fireplace with gas log in the living room. There's a spacious deck out front, and it's only a short walk to the beach and shopping. This home may allow a small dog (less than 40 pounds); please get details from our reservation specialists.Families only, please.

This vacation home rents on a nightly basis (2 night minimum, holidays and selected dates excepted; 3 night minimum mid-June through Labor Day). Rates vary by week and are subject to change. Rates do not include one-time cleaning and linen fee, 12% City of Avalon occupancy tax, and processing fees.

    Good location, but issues.

    The house needs some repairs and TLC. Upstairs screen door and sliding glass door can't close together; upstairs fan is loose and noisy in the ceiling; glass shower door in master has no closure and water escapes all over; the beds are SUPER soft and broken down and probably need a mattress replacement. There is also no A/C in the house, and the weekend we were there, VERY HOT in the entire house, especially the upstairs loft bedroom and bath. No way to cool it down - just miserable to get ready in or sleep in so be forewarned. This unit also shares space with another rental unit, it's part of a duplex. We unfortunately had to deal with a very drunk, rowdy group of tenants over the two days we were there and they were up well past 1am drinking, smoking and cussing on the shared top balcony, so that wasn't a ton of fun. On the plus side, the golf cart with the house was great to get around in. The location is convenient and the room with the 6 bunk beds is a great place for the kids - we had six of them with us on this trip and they loved it. For a knock-around beach house it works, it's just a steep price for the rental considering the issues.

    We have been renting this unit for over 10 years. It has grown worse and worse in need of repair and a good cleaning. Last year the property manager reimbursed us part of the fee due to multiple issues in the unit. There is a new owner that added gaudy furniture and some pretty ugly stuff; like faux fur sheets...Ewe!!! We managed to find some cotton sheets that fit and replaced them along with the fake satin pillow cases. Did I mention it was 88 degrees? Bbq was filthy and we had to clean it, shower heads screwed up, floors made our feet so black it will have to,"wear" off. To name a few things. We love the location and the golf cart but at these prices this place should b pretty cherry... And it isn't.

    Things were a mess when checked.

    We were missing second sets of towels for about five of us. The supplies were delivered in a timely manner. There was dirt all over on the back patio outside the upstairs bedroom. Dirty mess left on back patio. And this was brought to the attention of your office. Also a fishing pole and clothing was left under front bench on the entrance patio. The hall bathroom toilet tiasue holder broke and my husband had to fix it. Also the plug/plunger of the hall bath sink would not open or close, so again my husband had to fix it so we could use the sink! The location couldn't of been better. Just awesome! We loved having the golf cart. Just kind of noisey when the upstairs occupants moved their heavy chairs.
