Avalon Condos - 211 Whittley - 2 bedrooms - 1.75 baths
This great vacation home is one of the best ocean view properties in Avalon, and it's only a short two block walk up from the beach. The two bedrooms are on the lower level, with a full bath located between them (Jack & Jill style). Walk upstairs to the sunny living, dining, and kitchen areas where you'll find a queen sofa bed and the slider to the balcony, which offers ocean and hillside views. You'll find a new flat panel TV in the living room. The stacked washer/dryer and 3/4 bath are also on the upper level. A total of 1014 sq. feet.
This property rents on a nightly basis during the non-summer seasons (2 night minimum, holidays and selected dates excepted) and on a weekly basis (Saturday to Saturday) in summer (mid-June through Labor Day). Rates subject to change and may vary by week. Rates do not include one-time cleaning and linen fee, 12% City of Avalon occupancy tax, and processing fees.

This place worked out great for us. Trek up the hill kept us in shape. It was in a perfect location, close to everything. Lots of closet space & storage. Our only complaint is that the fridge was a mess inside but we reported this and it would not keep us from using this home again. Next time would bring a few dish towels and dish rag for kitchen cleaning. The view was wonderful, we noticed most places didn't have the view we had, that was a priority for us.

I spent two weeks at this property and loved it! The unit is spacious and the deck was great! My friends and I enjoyed sitting on that deck and watching the ocean, woodpeckers and even deer in the neighbors yard! We used the BBQ out there also. The unit is a little bit uphill but worth the hike. Furniture was comfy (all beds good except we didn't use the sofa bed...so I don't know about it). I will stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay at 211 Whittley very much. The hill was a bit of a challenge when we were tired, but other than that no real complaints. We stayed for a week, so the washer and dryer were a real plus.

After moving from our 1st unit, which was totally unacceptable in many ways, Denny reassigned us to Whittley. The unit was clean, modern, with many amenities and so convenient to the main town activiteis & concerts. Denny was awesome & took a personal interest in our comfort & satisfaction. Unfortunately, we did not find his office staff to be anywhere near as courteous or pleasant, especially alma.
