Vacation Rental Summary
It was mine and my husband's first time to Catalina. The rental was very nice and clean and centrally located in the heart of Avalon. We will definitely go again and will likely rent another house. Most everything is in walking distance. it was nice to have a full kitchen and the beach chairs and umbrellas were a plus!
This place was super convenient to everything in Avalon. It was the perfect place to stay for two people, and you could even have 4 people stay comfortably. The place had everything we needed, my only complaint would be that the bed was super squeaky. If you moved at all it would make a loud noise. Other than that, I would definitely stay in this place again if I make it back to Catalina Island.
Great place to rent, the only issue I had was that place was located on a hill so getting up there was a slight issue. Other than that great place.
We recently got married and decided to go to Catalina Island for our honeymoon. We loved it!!! Choosing a house to stay in during our week long adventure was perfect. Although the house is older, it worked just fine. Besides, in all actuality we basically slept there. The kitchen was fully equipped to cook a fantastic meal or two like we did. The view was amazing. It could use some upgrades, but lets face it, everything still works and that is just fine by me. I sat on the porch reading my books every morning and evening. The only downside that I could possibly complain about would be the hill that it is located on. Thankfully we took a cab there and then used the baggage pickup service and storage when we departed. I looked at it this way, "I was working off some of that great food we ate while we were there". We would rent this location again in the future. Totally worth it!
