We loved this rental! The full view of the harbor from the kitchen/living room and the roof deck is fabulous and it is two blocks from the water! All the windows open for a nice breeze. The unit is spacious, has wifi and washer/dryer which made our stay even better. It was clean, the bathrooms are nice, the kitchen is fully equipped, outside shower nice, and closet with beach chairs and rolling cart was convenient. Rental company easy to deal. We would love to come here again. Notes: d├ęcor/furniture somewhat outdated but clean and comfy, golf carts on the street a little noisy at night but earplugs work for sleeping, window coverings do not block much light in the bedrooms, roof deck accessible by exterior staircase, house located two blocks uphill and a couple somewhat steep stair flights up but worth it for the view!!

We Love this place and will be returning!

My family had a blast. The home was so cute and has an awesome view of Catalina. The rooftop barbecue and chairs is such a hit...for some reason it was blocked off to be able to access through the house... that would add so much to the pleasantness of the stay.

our first time to the island was a blast!!

Our family had a lovely stay in 216 Whittley C. We appreciated the convenient location -- central to all but a block off the main drag so as to avoid noise and late night revelers. We found the walk from the ferry terminal easy with our roller bags and the hill not too difficult (even with 2 kids). We really enjoyed the expansive view from the front windows in the house and delighted in seeing parasailers and cruise ships come in and out. The rooftop deck is phenomonal and we had several meals up top just staring out to sea and star gazing. The beds were quite comfortable -- even the Murphy Bed. The kitchen was well-stocked. Our criticism is mainly about the furniture in the house. Two ancient couches, neither comfortable and one a very strange size (blue). While I appreciate the historic significance of vintage wicker furniture, it simply isn't comfortable to sit on. It's poky and creaky and unstable. I would advise tossing all of these items and investing in a couple of new sofas and maybe an occasional chair or two. Furniture aside, we enjoyed this property and would like to visit again in the future.
