This is a nicely decorated, new town home in the heart of Avalon and just a short walk to the beach. With two master bedroom suites upstairs, it's perfect for two couples or a family. The first master suite (queen) faces the ocean and has sliding doors to a small, step-out private balcony; the 3/4 bath has an adjoining walk-in closet. The second master suite (Cal king) offers a full bath, and his and her walk-in closets. The washer/dryer are conveniently located between the two bedrooms. There is spacious living space downstairs, with a queen sofa sleeper, half bath, dining area and fully equipped kitchen-granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, and center island. Living room, staircase and upstairs are carpeted, while the kitchen, dining area and bathrooms are tiled. Sofa sleeper is in the dining area.
This property rents on a nightly basis during the non-summer seasons (2 night minimum, holidays and selected dates excepted) and on a weekly basis (Saturday to Saturday) in summer (mid-June through Labor Day). Rates vary by week and are subject to change. Rates do not include one-time cleaning and linen fee, 12% City of Avalon occupancy tax, and processing fees.

Great location other than the steep hill, no hair dryer you have to request one which I didn't know. Everything else was very nice

We have never stayed in a condo at Catalina and were a bit nervous to just rent one over the internet. But we were so impressed with our place at Beacon. It was clean and the kitchen was well equiped, spacious and a really nice view upstairs. You must be in good shape to walk up the hill to get there. It is only about a half of block up hill but if you have bad knees or something, not for you. It was really quiet and just perfect. Our only complaint was that our bedspread had stains on it. That was not really cool but that was our only complaint. We wished we stayed longer than four days. It is a very good place for two couples or a family. We are planning on going back to the same place next year!I wasn't sure if there were bath towels provided because some pictures didn't show towels, but there were plenty. I would recommend bringing your own beach towels and chairs.

Great condo to stay in. Would have liked them to provide beach towels, but otherwise very comfy stay. Excellent beds, nice areas to visit with family. Very modern appliances, bathrooms. Washer and Dryer a plus.

Staying at this condo was a joy. It was roomy and comfortable for a family of six with 4 big teenagers. Everyone had room to stretch out or a place to get away. The accomodations and ammenities were great. Except for the hill to get to it, it was perfect. We would definitely come back.

My family with four teenagers were very pleasantly surprised at the spaciousness of this home! It has a great floorplan and everything looked new and sparkling clean. It has an amazing view from one of the master bedrooms (there are two master suites) The kitchen is gourmet with an island. It is conveniently located with Von's market a block away. Short walk to the heart of avalon! The only draw back is the one steep block. Catalina Island Vacation staff were all wonderful and made our family feel like Vip's.
