Vacation Rental Summary
We enjoyed our stay. The three bedrooms are all connected which was different but certainly workable. The kitchen was well stocked and the unit was very clean except for the living room carpet - very dirty. The staff at the rental office were efficient and very friendly.
Had the chance to spend a few nights on Catalina Island with just me and my wife. The house was great, had everything we need to make a great meal or just sit back and watch a movie with the front doors wide open! 1 minute walk to the beach and all shopping make this a perfect spot for family too!
We have been vacationing at Catalina Island for many years during the Easter weekend, this our first time renting a home. We found this home through CIVR and fell in love with it instantly. With two growing boys we need the room the hotels can't provide. This home had everything imaginable that you may need to feel at home. The propane grill was our favorite. We will definatly be returning next year for our vacations... or maybe sooner.
Love how close it was to the beach. Only issue was that it is on the main road so tends to get a lot of traffic. The older golf carts are quite loud. The rooms are all connected so to get to the 3rd room you have to walk trough the first 2. Worked out ok for us but people should be aware of it. The porch was our favorite part!!!
The home was a little too quirky for us. I wasn't crazy about having to walk through 2 other bedrooms to get to the 3rd bedrm. Wish somebody had told us that was the case.
we have stayed at this house many times and plan to stay many more times. can't say enough about it. everything is good.
