From my first phone call to inquire about rentals until check out, the Civr staff was a pleasure to deal with. They are very helpful and knowledgable about the properties and everything went smoothly. The cottage itself was a delight. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything you could imagine. The decor is very cute and beachy, the beds are very comfortable, the bathrooms are nice and the porch is absolutely wonderful. It is evident that the owners take pride in their property. They even had the carpeting replaced right before our arrival. Thank you Civr and the owners of the Fairweather Cottage for making our short stay in Catalina so enjoyable. We'll be staying longer next time!

Great service, office staff very accomadating. The house was in a great location, walking distance to everything. House had all the utencils needed for cooking. The carpets needed to be cleaned and the fabric covered furniture was very used and dirty.

We have been coming to Catalina for many, many years and this by far, is our favorite house! We will definitely rent this house again. The porch is the best part, with it's dining table and comfy couches...we spent so much time out there reading, eating, enjoying the breeze and saying hi to people passing by. The inside of the house has every accommodation you could think of, as well as the outside (beach cart, beach toys, beach chairs, etc). The kids bedroom had toys that the kids loved and the living room was full of games to play. Ipod player, DVD, flat screen tvs, washer/dryer, dishwasher, seriously this house had everything. We were comfy and we enjoyed our vacation to the MaX! :):) I'm hesitant to write such a good review because I don't want this house to become so popular we can't rent it. :)

Loved our stay in the Fairweather Cottage... a fantastic Catalina experience! Tons of things to do or tons of time to relax ... your choice! The house is well kept and the kitchen wonderfully stocked! Thank you! We will be back again! Just a few comments: a new firmer Master bedroom mattress would be great and new outdoor furniture cushions are needed. Also, an extra wall shelf in the front bathroom for toiletries would be most helpful( the items that fall from the top towel shelf fall right into the toilet-arrgghh! ) Otherwise a terrific way to spend a week in paradise!

we have been staying at this little peice of heaven for years. we love the cottage. its close to every thing we like about the island. we've stayed here twice this year alone and hope to get in one more trip before the end of the year.

This home has a great central location, adorable front porch for outside visiting and great inside space for multiple people. The beds were very confortable and the bathrooms up to date. The kitchen was small and disorganized but doable. Very disappointed in the cleanliness of the inside and exterior. The cushions on the porch are in very poor condition. Home is overdue for detailed cleaning.

The staff at Catalina Island Rentals is the best ever. The cottage was wonderful. The owner and staff have anticipated your every need. I can't say enough about our experience. We are renting this cottage next year and have only one request, can we have some new cusions on the outdoor chair & love seat? Thanks to all who made our week perfect!

This was a great place to say very close to the beach and home is child friendly.
