This rental was very conveniently located to all Catalina has to offer. Beautiful Views. Lots of great outdoor space on the patio. Rooms and amenities were great and served our families needs very well. Hated to leave!

Fantastic location with a view! The golf cart made things so much more convinient. The house is a great set-up with a nice big deck. Lots of room and everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. Would happily stay here again!

    a nice comfortable stay

Nicely located- Up from town enough to have a lovely view but still walkable to everything, though it's great to have the cart! Great layout. Spacious & airy with comfy beds & bathrooms. Pretty quiet & peaceful. Could use a bit of updating of kitchen countertops, old wallpaper and curtains, but everything's clean and in good working order. Not quite enough comfortable seating in the living room (one sofa & 1 small chair only) if you have 6 adults who want to relax or have movie night, but all in all a great place that we would recommend!

We stayed at the Eagle's Nest for our children's spring break week in april 2014. I was really pleased with the great service from Civr from the first contact I had with them (they have so many great properties in avalon I had a had time choosing and they were super helpful in matching us with appropriate properties). We really liked that this property had a golf cart and a beautiful view of the ocean and the rest of avalon. My opinion is that homes in the avalon 'flats' are over-rated and the 'hills' provide great views, neat little neighborhoods and a nice walk to and from Crescent ave. The other nice thing about this house is that it is well-lived in, so with our group of four kids, we did not feel like there were any 'breakables' or fragile items that had to be put out of reach (funny how your perspective on what makes a good rental changes when you have young children). This also means that the wallpaper was wearing a little thin, the window coverings were a little outdated and dusty, but everything was in good working order and very clean. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils (bring or buy your own condiments, etc.) The neighbors were lovely, the morning birds chirping were delightful and the weather was great while we were there. A great week in Catalina!
