This is a great vacation home for families. The upper portion of a modern triplex, it offers 3 spacious bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and approximately 1300 sq.ft. of living space. There are french doors leading to a large wrap around balcony with great ocean and hillside views. The living room has a wood burning fireplace and a 40-inch flat panel TV, and all three bedrooms have TVs. The laundry room with washer and dryer is conviently located off the master bedroom. This property comes with the complimentary use of a golf cart.
This vacation home rents on a nightly basis (2 night minimum, holidays and selected dates excepted; 3 night minimum mid-June through Labor Day). Rates vary by week and are subject to change. Rates do not include one-time cleaning and linen fee, 12% City of Avalon occupancy tax, and processing fees.

Vacation Rental Summary
We stayed at the Eagle's Nest for our children's spring break week in april 2014. I was really pleased with the great service from Civr from the first contact I had with them (they have so many great properties in avalon I had a had time choosing and they were super helpful in matching us with appropriate properties). We really liked that this property had a golf cart and a beautiful view of the ocean and the rest of avalon. My opinion is that homes in the avalon 'flats' are over-rated and the 'hills' provide great views, neat little neighborhoods and a nice walk to and from Crescent ave. The other nice thing about this house is that it is well-lived in, so with our group of four kids, we did not feel like there were any 'breakables' or fragile items that had to be put out of reach (funny how your perspective on what makes a good rental changes when you have young children). This also means that the wallpaper was wearing a little thin, the window coverings were a little outdated and dusty, but everything was in good working order and very clean. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils (bring or buy your own condiments, etc.) The neighbors were lovely, the morning birds chirping were delightful and the weather was great while we were there. A great week in Catalina!
The rental was exactly as described on the website. The property was clean and had more than enough towels, soap, bedding, etc for our group. We had a full house and everyone was comfortable and loved the location. I will definitely try to rent this one again next time. Thank you for a wonderful stay and for making it so convenient!
We really enjoyed our stay. The place was clean with great accommodations. Loved the new floors, TV in all the rooms, view, out door grill and spacious family room. With a family of 6, we really felt comfortable. Love the wrap around porch with amazing view. Walking distance to a coffee house, restaurants and Vons. Highlight: golf cart!!
This is was our third consecutive year staying at the Eagles Nest and we can't wait until we go back next year. The views from the living room are breathtaking! Love the fact that the owner replaced the carpet with tile in the kitchen and hallway. Now they just need to replace the old green carpet in the bedrooms and living room. Although its temporary, we could have went without all the construction noise across the street. Finally, the best part about staying in the Eagles Nest is the golf cart. We take our disabled mother with us every year and the golf cart is a blessing. It's definitely the best way to explore the island. Thank you Civr for making our stay wonderful year after year!
