This well-appointed vacation home is the large upper unit of a duplex in one of the more charming and quiet locations in Avalon. The first bedroom has a king size bed, the second has a queen, the third bedroom has two twin beds, and the living room holds a queen hide-a-bed. This home offers an updated kitchen and dining area, a 42 inch flat panel TV in the living area, a stacked washer/dryer in the twins bedroom, and many updated amenities, which make this vacation home unique and comfortable. If required, heat is provided by three space heaters. No smoking, please.
This property rents on a nightly basis during the non-summer seasons (2 night minimum, holidays and selected dates excepted) and on a weekly basis (Sunday to Sunday) in summer (mid-June through Labor Day). Rates vary by week and are subject to change. Rates do not include one-time cleaning and linen fee, 12% City of Avalon occupancy tax, and processing fees.

Vacation Rental Summary
Loved being on a closed off street so the incessant speeding golf carts were not a constant annoyance. The house was very well furnished with ample of everything our family of 6 needed. Check and and out was very easy. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Loved this unit! The chose of decoration and colors was very pleasing. The negative was the major remodeling of the unit below. While Catalina Island Vacation Rentals negotiated some decrease in the work being done and refunded some of our rental fees, it was a major disappointment and I came home with a serious sinus infection from the particulate matter in the air. The unit should not have been rented or the renovations not started to avoid this stressful for all situation.

I don't think there is a better rental home in all of avalon. Our two families, four adults and four kids aged 8 - 13 were perfectly comfortable in this lovely renovated home on what must be the most quiet street in avalon. Every comfort, including wi-fi, was thoughtfully provided. It's one block to the tour plaza, two blocks to shopping and three blocks to the water. Working with the rental company was a breeze - I walked into the office and walked out with the keys literally a minute later. The rest of the gang hired a taxi to bring over the luggage and themselves to the home. Even though I walked, I beat them to the home by about two minutes. I certainly hope we have the opportunity to return to this peaceful spot on this peaceful island. Book this home with confidence and be sure to stay as long as you are able!
My family was so happy to walk in and see how tastefully and cheerfully this second story unit was decorated. It fit 7 of us comfortably with windows letting in light and breezes and views in every room. Location was great as it was on a quiet pedestrian-only street, perfect for my senior parents and brother's young children, and within walking distance to beach and downtown restaurants/shops. The unit was also well-stocked with movies, books, kitchen supplies, beach toys, etc.
I had a great experience at this place and it had all of the amenities of home and more. The place was beautifully kept and in a great location close to everything around. The home was located on a beautiful private street good for barbecues and meeting the neighbors. The place itself was spacious and could sleep 8 people. The kitchen was fully stocked with cooking utensils and a nice stove and large refrigerator. The service I received was very good as I had requested a new propane tank and one was delivered very quickly. My only downside was a neighbor who was rude about noise during the day at our barbecue but other than that it is definitely somewhere I would return to in any future stays on the island!
