This well cared for vacation home is the lower half of a duplex located approximately 2 1/2 blocks from the green Pleasure Pier and downtown Avalon. It is a one level home with three bedrooms and 1 1/2 baths. The first bedroom has a queen bed, the second bedroom has two sets of bunk beds, the third bedroom has a queen bed, and the living room has a double sofa sleeper. In addition to wireless internet, you will find a very well-equipped kitchen with a large family dining table next to the kitchen. The living room has a 37-inch flat panel TV and a DVD player. No smoking, please.
This property rents on a nightly basis during the non-summer seasons (2 night minimum, holidays and selected dates excepted) and on a weekly basis (Sunday to Sunday) in summer (mid-June through Labor Day). Rates vary by week and are subject to change. Rates do not include one-time cleaning and linen fee, 12% City of Avalon occupancy tax, and processing fees.

I was pleasantly surprised that the rental was fully outfitted for any need we had. We could have walked in with the clothes on our backs and been comfortable. Charming and comfortable. Highly recommend.

I would definitely stay in this little house again. It is close to everything and it is fully loaded with dishes and clean towels for the family. My family will definitely stay there again.

My family stayed here for the last two nights of summer before going back to school. We had a really nice time. This was our first time staying in a rental, as we have stayed in hotels in the past. The rental worked out better for us financially because we are a family of 5 (3 teenagers) and my in-laws came with us, make it a family of 7 - which would have meant three hotel rooms. The kids shared the bunk room and my in-laws in the front room and my husband and I in the back. The layout was nice, a lot of space. The location was great! My father in law is 80, so location was very important to us. The property was clean and very simple. Perfect for a family. We had a really nice time, we ate out for the most part. It was nice to have a full size fridge for cold drinks (purchased at the local Vons) and other snack type items. The property has everything you would need to prepare meals, we just chose not to. Check in/out went very smooth. Overall, was a very nice time for us! We will be doing this again!

We have stayed in this unit every summer for 30+ years. It is comfortable and roomy. The fact that the owners completely remodeled the bathroom a year ago really is a plus. They also delivered a new sofabed (for the living room) this year. Next up: Hopefully they will install a washer/dryer!

When I arrived on Tuesday morning, I was very happy that we were able to check in early. At that time I tried to arrange to have the sheets changed on Friday. I was told I needed to call the office on Wednesday. I did call the office on Wednesday and requested the sheets be changed on Friday - I was given an "ok". But no one came, the sheets were not changed.

Very close to the pier. Clean and loaded with cooking supplies and essentials. Cozy , felt just like home!
