This vacation home is the spacious upper level of a duplex. The open floor plan with a cathedral ceiling and large windows in the living room offers a very bright, light living space. Enjoy morning coffee or afternoon beverages on the balcony, accessed from the living room through sliding glass doors. Prepare your meals in the well-stocked kitchen, which also has a bar height counter for enjoying meals and snacks or keeping the cook company. You will find a Cal king bed in the bedroom and a queen aero bed for extra sleeping. This home is perfect for 2 to 4 people, and it’s just 19 steps up from the sidewalk.
This property rents on a nightly basis during the non-summer seasons (2 night minimum, holidays and selected dates excepted) and on a weekly basis (Sunday to Sunday) in summer (mid-June through Labor Day). Rates vary by week and are subject to change. Rates do not include one-time cleaning and linen fee, 12% City of Avalon occupancy tax, and processing fees.

We really enjoyed our stay at this location. It is nice and very roomy and we just love the outside balcony (it would be even better if they added a grill for the balcony). We like the fact that it offered free WiFi (a must for us) and aC (my husband runs hot so this is a great added feature). We think this place is in a ideal location, very close to the downtown but far enough away that you avoid a lot of crowd noise. We have made this our vacation rental every time we visit the island. The rental company is also great about taking care of anything that goes wrong. We would highly recommend this place :)

My wife and I stayed here and it was great! The service was great, even though we booked at the last minute. My wife loved the home, and the fact that it wasn't right on the shore made it a pleasant walking experience and a chance to see avalon a litttle more each day. The kitchen provided everything that we needed to make the most out of food from Von's, the local (and only) grocery store. It has a patio/deck that overlooks quite a bit of avalon, and the view is great. We enjoyed Breakfast on the patio each morning. I think that this rental is priced well, we paid about a grand for 4 days, although I think the cleaning fee of $90.00 is pretty steep, especially when you have ton do the dishes and take the trash out yourself.

We enjoyed our stay here. The place was clean and looked recently remodeled. The main issue we had was the arrow bed which our daughter and son-in-law slept on,lost air twice during the night. A fold out couch-to-bed would have been better. The king size bed we slept on was very comfortable. Nice big screen tv was very nice, also tv in bedroom. Really enjoyed the deck and the view. We would rent this unit again.

The condo was three blocks away from the beach which was close but not too close to all the action. The air mattress had a hole in it so I had to sleep on a tiny sofa that wasn't very comfortable. Other than that the condo was clean and well maintained.

We loved this rental. Phil, at Catalina Island Vacation Rentals, was so helpful in finding a place for us that we really liked. This rental is full of light, very clean and new, great kitchen, good view from the balcony, very close to everything. It is peaceful (you can hear golf carts/neighbors for sure during the day, but after around 8pm it was very quiet). We will stay here again for sure. Thanks Phil!
