Vacation Rental Summary
This is a really cute & cozy little cottage. The beds were very comfortable and it had everything I needed in the kitchen. Loved the porch and it was really fun sitting in the rocking chairs and watching the busy life of Avalon residents and visitors pass by, although this street can be noisey during the day as it is a major thoroughfare for the island. Very quiet in the bedrooms, however. When I return next year I will look for a place on a quieter street, even though I loved this property. It looks exactly like the photographs.
Cute green house centrally located in Avalon. Easily sleeps 6 with 2 bathrooms, full kitchen and lovely porch for people watching. Much better than a hotel for a family/friends get-away.
Great location and recently remodeled. I recommend a beach house over a hotel if you are staying more than a couple of days. You can walk to the grocery store and cook meals. Its great! Also, you can do laundry. The location is just a few blocks from beach & main strip. We would stay here again.
The house on Sumner was clean and ready to live in when we arrived. The location is perfect and there was tons of room. The porch was especially pleasant. We had a great time and Civr made it really easy to get settled and depart with no hassles. We will definitely do this again!
We traveled to Catalina with 2 other couples to celebrate our anniversary and a birthday. Long story short we ended up booking at the last minute and the rental company was super helpful!! I think it was Sarah I spoke with, I called, told her what I was looking for in a certain price range and she called me back within an hour and had 3 options for me. I originally chose this becase of the cute green porch and the fact that there were 3 queen beds so all the couples could sleep together and not have to deal wih twin beds. There are 2 rooms(pretty small but that didnt matter to us) each with a bed then there is a futon in the living room that is super comfy. The door from the kitchen to the living room atually closes so it is like having our own room lol! The place was super clean, new hard wood floors, etc. and centrally lcated in town--I was expecting it to be a litte more tacky and cottage-like for the price but it totally wasnt!!! It was a pleasant surprise and I would for sure rent this place again!!!
We had a fabulous time staying in this darling little house. We filled it up with 3 generations and had a blast. It had everything we needed:) I have been going to Catalina for 60 years, and really love these older homes that are so special to the Island.
