Vacation Rental Summary
Great house for large families or groups of children. It would be nice to have wifi. Two of the bedrooms are lofts which children enjoy. Kitchen is well equipped. Lots of space. We have used this hous for many summers and like it.
This was a very spacious house. We had four adults traveling together so it was large enough to allow each of us our own space. We also enjoyed the balcony and how it had so many supplies available to make it easy to spend a week comfortably. There were some negatives...First, it is an older house; I called it "1970's boat themed". Wood paneled walls, old, stained carpets, slow water pipes, etc. It has an old feel and smell and could use some remodeling or updating. Second, the washer was out of order which was very inconvenient to us. We would have loved to wash some of our clothes midweek. Also, having just one TV was also not convenient. It worked out since we ended up just walking around town more instead but a TV upstairs would have been great.
We were very happy with the house. Tons of space for the family, comfortable beds, loved the balcony where my husband and I got to people watch at night! Good location, loved how there were items left over from previous renters ( salad dressings, lunch bags, dishwasher soap, etc.) we added to the stock for the next group :) just a very comfortable house to spend time at, and we will defiantly be making a trip back to this house!! Thank you homeowners for your generosity!
We have rented this house for many years and love it. I bring all of my grandkids for a week each year. It would really help if they had wifi. Although the house was not ready until 5:20 this year(which was quit inconvenient)we very much appreciated all the coupons you gave us and we used all of them. I would like to have my calls returned when I leave messages with you. I am still waiting for a return to my message last week. We have already reserved it for next summer and are really looking forward to it. Hopefully all will go well. Thanks for helping us with this each year. Ronda Landrum
We rented 10 houses in our group. We started 23 yrs ago. Every year some one new comes & they are hooked.
This house was very cute and clean. It has a nautical theme and lots of nice decorations. The house accommodated our mini family reunion. One highlight for us was the fireman's pole. Don't attempt the australian repel, however. One drawback for self-caterers is the Galley Kitchen.
