Vacation Rental Summary
This home was in a nice location. It had a well stocked kitchen and linens. We liked having the the two full baths. We enjoyed relaxing in the great room after biking all over the island. We enjoyed meeting some of the locals too. Restaurants were close by as well as shopping.
This is the second time we have rented the house at 327 Claressa and I have booked it for next year. They have done some very nice updates and we enjoyed our stay there. They have new appliances, window treaments and a very large flat screen TV. The only negative is they need to replace the carpet. It is has a lot of stains. Still a small complaint and doesn't keep me from renting it again.
Had asked that a high chair be included in the rental which is how the photos depicted the kitchen contents. Learned upon arrival that it would be $15 extra if we wanted it delivered. Not cool. Resident neighbor nextdoor was annoyingly loud grilling outside our front door, then making himself part of a family conversation we were having. But the accomodations were just fine.
Thanks for taking the time to offer your review of your accomodations.
I apologize for the misunderstanding regarding the high chair. I don't recall any photos of this property, including a high chair. Only a couple of our rentals do have one. Yes, there are two companies in Avalon that rent baby equipment, as a convenience to travellers. Luckily, we don't hear many complaints about neighbors, as the local residents DO appreciate our visitors.
