This is a charming Catalina cottage on the “flats” in Avalon, just 2-1/2 blocks from the beach, restaurants and shopping. The inviting interior has a spacious living room with wall-to-wall windows, a dining area near the kitchen, two bedrooms, and two bathrooms. Recently remodeled, this cottage has all new appliances in the kitchen, a new flat-screen HDTV, as well as a washer and dryer. This family friendly home also has a Graco crib for your use. We have free WI-FI for our guests, too.
This property rents on a nightly basis during the non-summer seasons (2 night minimum, holidays and selected dates excepted) and on a weekly basis (Sunday to Sunday) in summer (mid-June through Labor Day). Rates vary by week and are subject to change. Rates do not include one-time cleaning and linen fee, 12% City of Avalon occupancy tax, and processing fees.

Had asked that a high chair be included in the rental which is how the photos depicted the kitchen contents. Learned upon arrival that it would be $15 extra if we wanted it delivered. Not cool. Resident neighbor nextdoor was annoyingly loud grilling outside our front door, then making himself part of a family conversation we were having. But the accomodations were just fine.

I apologize for the misunderstanding regarding the high chair. I don't recall any photos of this property, including a high chair. Only a couple of our rentals do have one. Yes, there are two companies in Avalon that rent baby equipment, as a convenience to travellers. Luckily, we don't hear many complaints about neighbors, as the local residents DO appreciate our visitors.

This home is one of the nicer ones we have stayed on the Island in years. It was just a short walk to everything and so convenient. We loved all the detail and charm of this place and would definitely come back. The floors look new and are really nice. My only con would be the carpet in the bedrooms needs to be replaced. It looks pretty bad and feels dirty when walking on barefoot. Other than that, it's a perfect getaway retreat!

From the first phone call to the dropping of the keys, that was the easiest rental experience ever. The property was well equipped and so very clean. Just as advertised, no hassle. I will most definetly use Civr again and again. Great location and good value. Scott
