This beautifully decorated and spacious two-story vacation home has all the modern conveniences. Open floor plan with kitchen, large dining area, and living room, which has a gas fireplace. Three bedrooms, including the master suite, are upstairs, and the fourth is downstairs. The master bedroom has a great sitting area with a gas fireplace; french doors open onto the deck. Two new 42" flat screen TV's with Blu-Ray have been installed - one in the master bedroom and one in the living room. This is a "green" house featuring solar electric panels, tankless hot water heater, double pane vinyl windows, extra insulation and salt water toilets. 329 Descanso is one of the finest properties in Avalon.
This property rents on a nightly basis during the non-summer seasons (2 night minimum, holidays and selected dates excepted) and on a weekly basis (Sunday to Sunday) in summer (mid-June through Labor Day). Rates vary by week and are subject to change. Rates do not include one-time cleaning and linen fee, 12% City of Avalon occupancy tax, and processing fees.

The house was perfect for the weekend. Very spacious and open. Everything was fully functioning. I couldn't have chosen a better place. Location was also perfect, very close to the main street. We walked the entire time without a problem.

Catalina Island Vacation Rentals is the best property management company - hands down!!! I've been renting homes over on the Island for about the last 10 years - I always receive excellent service. The home that we rented and have for the last two years is very quaint and homey!!! 4-bedrooms which accommodates 6 to 8 people (children included). The Master Bedroom has a nice balcony off of it that's great for bbq'ing or just chilling and sunning. It's located just two/three blocks away from the hustle and bustle of Catalina Island. All the restaurants, stores, etc. What I like best about this house is that it suits our needs completely: it's centrally located, it's large enough, and it's comfortable enough. It's time for the owners to do some internal upgrading - some of the furniture is just a little too homey and worn.

What an amazing vacation - we'd book again for next year but our son is in the Navy and we are not sure where he'll be yet. Thank you Cat. Is. Vac Rentals for resolving the party issue across the road - the remaining 5 nights were heaven. Thank you also for the new toaster - made my husband's mornings. Loved the house and it worked beautifully for our family space wise and so many things already there (salt, videos, sand pails) for us to feel right at home. The only little thing I could suggest is that the bed pillows be replaced and then washed occasionally. The beds were very comfortable and my husband's back is fussy so that says alot. We think the house and Catalina Vacation Rentals are 5 star. andrea lenert

We had seven family members with us to celebrate three birthdays. The house was a perfect size and allowed us to have enough bathrooms and beds for everyone. The kitchen was well-stocked, and it had all of the conveniences we needed. The location was fine for us, since we could all walk the three blocks into town and the beach. We liked the beach decor and the open spaces of the kitchen, living room and dining room. The only complaints were that the bunk beds and the twin beds had hard mattresses that were uncomfortable. The king beds were fine.

We come to Catalina every year for Memorial Weekend with a few other couples. The house was clean and very roomy. Prefect for families. The open kitchen with living and dining room is great for large groups. The patio upstairs was fun for us to sit, drink, and talk on. Walking distance to everything! We will definitely look into staying here again!
