This two story house is the perfect vacation home for your family, located on the only vehicle-free residential street in Avalon. The main floor has an open floor plan with the living and dining areas and kitchen with center island, as well as one bedroom, one bath and the laundry area. It is beautifully decorated, light and airy and has stone tile floors on the first floor. This home is located in the middle of town, three blocks from the beach and shopping.
This property rents on a nightly basis during the non-summer seasons (2 night minimum, holidays and selected dates excepted) and on a weekly basis in summer (mid-June through Labor Day). Rates vary by week and are subject to change. Rates do not include one-time cleaning and linen fee, 12% City of Avalon occupancy tax, and processing fees.

For my 60th, I talked my 37-year-old son, daughter-in-law, 28-year-old daughter, husband and 5 friends to run the Catalina Half Marathon. We rented a great family house at 334 Eucalyptus and it was perfect. It was just a few minutes walking distance from town and the start line for the race. Located on a closed to motorized vehicles street, the kids could play out front without worry. A park just walking distance away was a nice bonus too. With 4 kids under 4 years, it was crazy but the layout of the house allowed enough room downstairs for everyone without feeling crowded. Nice big kitchen and ceiling fans in all bedrooms. Dishwasher wasn't working, but my husband enjoys the monotony of washing dishes for some odd reason! My husband and I quickly took dibs on the downstairs bedroom off the kitchen (TV & bathroom too), and the rest of the rugrats and adults were upstairs in the remaining 3 bedrooms. My 5 friends were smart and rented a separate house on Whitley, just a 5 to 10 minute walk away, which is where I escaped to when I needed a little quite time :-) We liked the house and proximity to everything. We'll be back.

Perfect weekend. The house was beautifully decorated and incredibly spacious. Walking distance to every market/restaurant/beach. Great location and the rental office was so helpful and friendly. A wonderful home for a group of friends or family. It could easily fit 2 families with so many beds. Would definitely recommend this house and rental company.

The layout of this house for multi-family is awesome! The amenities are perfect... The only concern we had was the extreme closeness we are to our neighbors on either side. Their early morning and late nite cigarette/cigar smoke and language was irritating. However, when we finally confronted them, they were accomodating in that they moved. We constantly had to monitor our noise level for them too, which, like I said, wasn't ideal, but we will definitly stay there again next year!

We rented this house for a family vacation with our 3 adult children. The house itself was beautiful, modern and roomy. The location was great. You could easily walk to all. A great place to stay with kids of all ages. The only thing (and to us a big one) is it could have been much cleaner. Whoever cleans in between tenants does not do a very good job. We ended up putting all the dishes and silverware through the dishwasher as well as washing the tile floor right away as it was dirty. Didn't appear that the quilts on the beds are washed in between. My husband mentioned this to the rental office and they only said they would pass along the info...not sure to who. This house could be a gem and has all the amenities if it had been cleaner.

Really enjoyed the house & location. Nice layout-very comfortable. The only complaint I have is that the bedspread & blankets in master bedroom were not clean. Also they could use a new umbrella on outside deck.

My wife and I, a friend and her daughter, another couple from home, and my spearfishing partner stayed here the Sun-Wed before the Memorial weekend and had a fabulous time. The house was just great. All the bedrooms were fine as were the bathrooms. The living room was comfortable and the kitchen well supplied and a perfect place to put on a great dinner. The location doesn't afford a view but on the plus side is the fact it is walking distance to the main streets (a couple of minutes) and is on a street closed to vehicles, so it is quiet. One neighbor was a bit noisy at night, but that's life. All in all an excellent place to stay on Catalina, especially for a large group.

When our family arrived on Friday afternoon we were taken to the rental and we were definitely surprised with the home and all of the amenities. We were grateful for the location and the service of the rental agency! We hope everyone's stay is as comfortable as ours!!! Jaime Lopez
