Avalon Condos - Bahia Vista - A06 - 2 bedrooms - 2.50 baths

The staff was very polite and helpful. The home was warm and inviting. The older decor didn't take away from our great experience. The condo experience is much more rewarding than a hotel one. Especially if you are traveling with others. You can cook your own meals and save some $$$. The Common area to commune when the days activities have concluded was priceless.

We stayed in a 2bdrm, 2.1/2 bath condo in Bahia Vista and it was great. It was ready to check into when we arrived on Friday at 2:00 pm, perfectly clean and very well appointed. We have been coming to Catalina for about 15 years over the Labor say holiday and we love it!

This vacation home has all the facilities for a family to spend & enjoy a vacation. I thoroughly enjoyed staying here and recommend this property. Also on the day of my arrival i reached Catalina around 12:00 pm and the office was kind enough to allow us do a early check in. Usually the check in is at 3:00pm. I have few complaints though regarding the carpet being unclean/dirty. Also i did not like that fact that we have to clean up dishes & clear trash before checking out . Why do we have to do this when we are charged $110 in the rent specifically for cleaning purposes? To sum it up its a home away from home. Thank you Civr..

We enjoyed our stay at a-06 Bahia Vista, it is very spacious, great location, the rental company was fantastic, and the master bedroom bed was so comfortable! Our only real complaint would be the carpet was stained and dirty, very dirty, and the couch seems very old and worn out. Replacing those two things would make all the difference!

This place was fine. It was very outdated, but ok. The carpets were not very clean but the bedding was all very clean. When checking in, the rental office staff was very unfriendly. The front clerk literally sneered at me when I asked if we could rent a golf cart (we had never been to Catalina before). When she couldn't find the pool key to our rental, she told me that she would send someone over with it. They never came, despite my request 3 times over the period of two days. We had to hop up on the pool gate and push the inside handle down with a broom. Not overly friendly or helpful. There are so many other places to stay on Catalina, that we plan on using another agency when we do go again. We had a blast on the island, so it made up for the rude rental staff! This rental place was like a 70's flash back! It was fine, especially if you don't plan on being in it for very long.
