Vacation Rental Summary
We explored Catalina island and certainly enjoyed the use of the golf cart. The unit was adequately, just, equipped. It appeared to be "not finished" in the renovation stage. There was no extras. We had to ask at the rental office re were washer and driver located. The bottom front entrance step was not secured safely, very loose. The extra propane tank, which is an assets to have, was not filled. So if you ran our you would not be able to finish your BBQ.
This was another great stay, we've stayed at this condo 3 times and have truly enjoyed the amenities each stay. It is fabulous.
We enjoyed this place. It was pretty much as described. The pictures show the nicer portions of the condo. Carpets upstairs were a bit dirty and some of the condo needs paint. There were a couple maintenance issues but the management was quick to resolve them. The staff was friendly. Would stay again. Ended up being cheaper than getting 2 hotel rooms. The golf cart was super cool to have for the week, major added bonus for us. Pool and jacuzzi were another feature we enjoyed. Patio upstairs and downstairs was also nice. Patio has a hillside view with some sort of a drainage ditch right there but at least you are outdoors.
My husband and I and some of our friends stayed at 57 Sol Vista last weekend and it was nothing short of fantastic. The kitchen is fully equipped and has a BBQ on the patio so we didn't have to eat every meal out. The golf cart was a huge hit since it's quite a ways up the hill but we meandered up above the condo and took in the awesome view of avalon and the Casino Building. The great thing is that it's quiet there so when you're ready to get away from the bustle of the town, you can actually relax. We will definitely be back.
