Walk past the pool to the elevator and take to the 3rd floor, exit left from the elevator and then take a left and walk through the hallway to the property. Upon entering, you will walk down seven steps to the dining and living area, with TV, VCR, DVD player and stereo, a fully equipped kitchen, a spacious master suite, and a large deck accessible from both the bedroom and the living space. Enjoy the view of Avalon Harbor and town while relaxing on the deck! No smoking, please. A total of 749 sq ft.
Rental of a vacation home at Bahia Vista includes use of community pool (Heated from Memorial Weekend through Labor Day Weekend) and spa. Some restrictions may apply. Occupants subject to Bahia Vista Condo Owners Association Rules & Regulations.
This property rents on a nightly basis during the non-summer seasons (2 night minimum, holidays and selected dates excepted) and on a weekly basis (Saturday to Saturday) in summer (mid-June through Labor Day). Rates subject to change and may vary by week. Rates do not include one-time cleaning and linen fee, 12% City of Avalon occupancy tax, and processing fees.

We had a nice stay all in all. Lots of good points: well equipped, roomy, nice patio with good view, nice pool, easy walk from the town. However, should only be advertised as sleeps two. The mattress on the sofa bed is beyond horrible, even topping it with the foam pad rolled up in the closet. This improvement and some low cost cosmetic and modernization upgrades would put it up to "very good" in my book.

Initially I was a little disappointed: The decor was pretty old. Faded pictures, really old appliances and slightly crunchy carpet in the bedroom. The whole place had an interesting odor (the elevator was the worst). However: The bed was comfy and clean. The furniture was not ragged or abused. Everything worked and was clean. Taking the stairs is good for you. Once you get the doors open and the place aired out it smelled find. The deck is awesomely large and fairly private. It was deathly quiet at night especially since it was a little removed from what passes for a downtown with the bars. Overall I liked the place especially for the price and will very likely come back. If not to this unit possibly to the complex.

Have stayed at Bahia Vista many times. This was our first time in B41. Found the unit to be poorly cleaned. Sticky cabinets, dirty dishes in cupboard, hair clogging the tub that we had to clean out to drain after the first shower. Vacume cleaner in unit did not work. I would say it is a basic, comfortable unit that needs a good cleaning. When reported to Catalina Vacation Rentals was told "well, it's the end of season."

The unit offers a large sundeck with views of the hillsides, cottages, and Casino. It included plenty of clean towels and kitchen necessities. There were 4 of us and we were quite comfortable. It was an easy stroll to the village and local points of interest.
