Vacation Rental Summary
The best thing going for B42 is the beautiful view from the balcony. The owner has made some upgrades over the years, but the furniture is very outdated. The "king" bed is two twin mattresses and not very comfortable, with plastic covered pillows. The wifi was down during our entire trip. The sofa sleeper was broken. The TV in the bedroom was broken. And the owner has crammed so much stuff into the two closets, there was no room to hang anything. There is also quite a bit of items in the fridge and freezer which the owner has posted notes all over it to not use. It's unfortunate that this rental is not geared toward the satisfaction of the renters, especially given how much it costs. CIVR is always great to deal with, but unfortunately, most of these were out of their control. I would go with B41 or C59 if you want a great one-bedroom choice. Our friends/family stayed in those condos the same week and they had no problems...and lots of closet space! (Oh, and just an FYI...the condo complex has decided to not heat the spa after Labor Day, so I would definitely confirm if it will be warm during your stay, as it's listed as one of the amenities.)
Nice that it was well equip in the kitchen and that some stuff was left for use. Fans were available for use and surprisingly quiet place to stay. Nice walk to town and really not that far and if you wanted to walk up to and past the golf course it was a nice walk.
