Located across from the pool, enjoy the full ocean view from all rooms in this cozy town home style villa located on the end of building one. The villa has been totally refreshed with paint and new furnishings. The bedroom, with a Cal king bed and full bath, are on the lower level, which has an exit door to the outside stairs. The living room with double sofa sleeper, dining area, kitchen and second bath (3/4, shower) are on the main level. Enjoy the great view from the private balcony off the living room. Guests may enter the villa from both levels (only 42 steps to the bedroom level). 830 SFT
Rental of a vacation home in Hamilton Cove includes use of the community’s amenities (pool, spa, health club, 18-hole putting course, tennis courts, croquet court, sand volleyball court and beach area with built in barbecues and picnic tables). Some restrictions may apply. Occupants subject to Hamilton Cove Homeowners Association Rules & Regulations.
This vacation home rents on a nightly basis (2 night minimum, holidays and selected dates excepted; 3 night minimum July & August). Rates subject to change and may vary by week. Rates do not include one-time cleaning and linen fee, 12% City of Avalon occupancy tax, and processing fees.

as normal we had a great stay for a week at hamilton cove. Are unit was 1-55 and worked out great. the owner had upgraded the unit with new furniture and a new king bed. you can lay in bed in the morning and look out at the ocean ! this unit had less steps to climb and get to your condo. Bedroom is downstairs from the living space upstairs, we found that to be perfect. Denny at catalina vacation rentals was great to work with. Very helpful with anything you might need. This our 8th time to catalina over the last 34 years, and we love it. The condo resrt has beautiful grounds with a real grass miniature golf course thats included in your stay. nice tennis courts and snorkeling area at the resort. The pool is great with a nice hot tub , also steam rooms. we'll be back soon ! jim

The view from the balcony was amazing. Two floors, with a bathroom on each, allowed for privacy but the living space was also big enough to fit 4 comfortably. It was clean, well furnished, comfortable and even included use of a 4 person golf cart. Being on the north end of the island, it was quiet, restful and very resort like. Add ease of booking, check in and check out and it was a perfect long weekend. Pictures of the property were right on point.

Based on previous reviews, we weren't sure what to expect, but we were extremely pleased with our villa. Furnishings were very nice, not luxurious, but comfortable and clean. The views from our private balcony were amazing. The complex was well maintained, peaceful, quiet and relaxing. The only thing we heard at night was the sound of the ocean through our open bedroom windows. The golf cart provided with the unit allowed us to tour the island at our convenience. There were enough island activities to make our stay enjoyable and entertaininh...and we always had the spectacular views to return to in the evening.

We really appreciated the immaculate condition of the condo, including a well stocked kitchen. Comfortable pull out bed in the living room for our kids. Flat screen tv's with lots of channels were great because we were there during the Olympics. Free long distance calls. A comfortable, king size bed was a definite plus for us. We have stayed at many different units over the years and this is my favorite to date. It is a few steps to the pool and the beach, and you can of course hear the ocean (a real bonus for me). Only drawback: No wifi. Had to go to town to make calls,go online.

The service by Catalina Island Vacation Rentals was exceptional, Denny the manager, made sure we were happy. the first villa we were given, I believe was 174 had a great location and view, however the furniture was all torn, old and smelly. We called the office and Denny came right over, showed us two other villas for us to choose from and moved us. Villa 155 is furnished nicely, great views but the balcony is much smaller than 174. There was an odor in the living room, like someone had thrown up but other than that is was a great villa with up to date TVs and electronics. It was great to be able to have the golf cart to drive around. We spent time snorkeling, kayaking, feeding the deer, swimming with the dolphins in the wild and enjoying the Descanso Beach, with its restaurant and music, go for the Happy Hour, best deal in town and you can't beat the view, one night the deer came right down to the beach. We were there for three days but felt like longer, very relaxing.

Regarding 1-55 and the odor you noticed. The owner had recently painted and put in new carpet. I suspect that is what could have caused this odor.

We had a fabulous time, we came down for my wife's 57 birthday, our rental was romantic and serene the golf cart was cute and manageable. My wife was able to experience the zip line tour which has made her a sheroe amongst her circle . A week later and she's bragging about the whole experience and trying to recruit others to visit and stay the weekend
