Vacation Rental Summary
The view was very impressive but shared with our neighbors (both sides) along a skinny, long balcony. The condo's appliances were outdated (awful electric stove, broken coffee maker, refrigerator doesn't keep things very cold). We had a few mishaps but the service guys were very helpful and pretty quick to respond (considering it was a holiday). The TV was difficult to operate (5 different remotes), the coffee pot broke & one of the toliets weren't working properly. The condo wasn't too cluttered with knick knacks (concerned for my wild 2 year olds safety). Both bathrooms were nice sizes.
We rented this condo along with 1-74 for our daughters wedding. It was truly magnificent. The only problem I would say is that when we got there the toilet seat in 1-74 was broken and the toilet in the master bathroom was backed up with something brown. I do have to say that when I called the rental property management they were quick and resolved the issues.
We came to the island with several family members and friends for a wedding. There were adults and children and the Cove was perfect for everyone.Hamilton Cove and this particular unit was a perfect spot to gather because of the size, beautiful view, access to pool and beach, wifi and a four passenger golf cart. My only comment would be that it needs more coffee cups and glasses and the dishwasher broke but staff was very responsive. Would love to come again!
Had a great stay with our kids and spent most of our time on the large balcony. The beds were comfortable and the upkeep very good.
Overall, we had a great family vacation! The service from Civr, as always, was great. A special thank you to Chay who is the agent we have always booked through. The location of the room was perfect. We had a shared balcony with my sister's family who was staying in the very next villa. The villa was clean and very functional.
We stayed in 1-75 with another couple. I picked this place because the two bedrooms were about as equal/comparable as we could find. The smaller bedroom had a queen bed and the bathroom was located across the hallway. The bigger bedroom had a king bed and an ensuite bathroom. But, both had gorgeous views of the water and direct access to the porch. The porch has a row of tall chairs that are actually the perfect choice because they are tall enough to see over the railings, giving you a nice spot to relax and watch the water. The living room has a small leather couch and matching love seat. It was a little tight for two couples. I wish there were two couches. But, there were plenty of throws, good lighting, and a flat screen TV. The kitchen was adequate and had everything we needed to cook a few meals (except for a can opener). It was a small space, with a dining table taking up most of the room. But, there is a half wall that opens the space up into the living area (and provides a nice place to sit and keep the cook company). The condo had wi-fi that worked well. The golf cart seated 4 comfortably and had a nice big "basket" on the back that was great for lugging groceries around. Would be nice if the golf cart was a little more powerful -- it was slow going getting up some of the hills. The location of the condo within the complex is actually pretty ideal. It's close to the entrance and only three short flights of stairs downhill, but it's still close enough to the water that you get nice views of the bay and can hear the waves breaking. Just wish the porch got a little more direct sun. All in all, we enjoyed our stay.
