Hamilton Cove Villa 11-52 - 2 bedrooms - 1.75 baths

You will be very happy with this unit. Located next to the end unit, closest to the water of any unit! Only 5 steps to Unit. Nice Golf Cart, 4 seater. Very Private and quiet. Romantic and great for family. Beautiful Master bedroom furnishing, french doors on the water. Nice Wall Mounted Flat screen, stereo too. All around great and we will request this unit again, for sure!

The two bedroom condo was comfortable and spacious. I left it cleaner than I found it. The rug in the living room and carpet were not clean and need to be cleaned. The pull out sofa bed was very uncomfortable. Be sure to clean the pillows and the bedding along with the sheets. The service was good. We needed propane and got it veary quickly. The neighbors had a stove fire and we got service right away to help. Loved having the complete kitchen and a washer and dryer. The golf cart transportation was great fun and very convenient. Hope to have an electric golf cart some day. Very good check in and out. We hope to rebook!

We have been going to Catalina for 20 years now and within the past 10 years or so have been staying at HC numerous times, in multiple units and with both rental agencies. Unit 11-52 is certainly at the top of the nicest units we have stayed. The unit is well maintained, beds are very comfortable, and as a whole is large enough where you have no restrictions and or feel cramped. With the full kitchens, multiple large bathrooms and bedrooms, storage; everything is included for turnkey usage. This unit sits directly above a secluded beach, The view is unobstructed with a full view of the ocean, boat moorings, and even the casino in the distance. It certainly offers among the best views at HC; or the island for that matter, but also makes you feel a part of the ocean since the only noise you hear on the balcony is the ocean waves breaking on the beach. We spent hours here just enjoying the serenity of the ocean, and of course left the windows open as to hear the waves all night. If the price scares you, and this view/experience is not what you "need”, there are other cheaper units with a garden view higher on the mountain. These units can be had for the same price as some of the higher level hotels in avalon, but with the golf cart and all home like amenities/space/flexibility, I just don't see why anyone would go the hotel route. Btw, the only reason I rated the value at 4 stars was because it is a bit pricy. If you are just looking for somewhere to sleep in preparation for scuba/other activity madness, this place is not for you. If you do however want the full living experience where you set your own schedule and demand convenience, flexibility, luxury and numerous amenities, I'm not sure HC can be beat. In that regard, the value is off the chart and why I just won't stay anywhere else.

We loved our condo and the view it came with. We had never stayed so close to the ocean and it was a blast waking up to the sound of waves. Hamilton Cove is truly the best place to stay while on Catalina. We will defiantly be back in this condo soon.

Great location, the view was incredible, and the accomodations were comfortable. We had a great time watching the dolphins swim by. This unit is not as up-to-date as some of the others we saw. It was surface-clean but needs a thorough deep cleaning and very badly needs paint. The furniture is a bit out-dated. We would have appreciated more comfortable outdoor furniture. The kitchen needs to be replenished (dishes, etc were limited and in bad shape). The golf cart was handy and fun, but a bit of an old dog (it was a slooowww trip up the hills!).
