Just 26 steps to the road and a total of 1300 sq. feet.
Rental of a vacation home in Hamilton Cove includes use of the community’s amenities (pool, spa, health club, 18-hole putting course, tennis courts, croquet court, sand volleyball court and beach area with built in barbecues and picnic tables). Some restrictions may apply. Occupants subject to Hamilton Cove Homeowners Association Rules & Regulations.
This vacation home rents on a nightly basis (2 night minimum, holidays and selected dates excepted; 3 night minimum July & August). Rates subject to change and may vary by week. Rates do not include one-time cleaning and linen fee, 12% City of Avalon occupancy tax, and processing fees.

The check in and check out was painless. The staff had everything in order and the exterior key drop box saved time on departure. The condo was lovely...comfortable and well stocked with kitchen and bathroom essentials. The floor plan is well thought out. The taxi drivers in Catalina are familiar with the Hamilton Cove complex and drop off and departure pick up went smoothly. Note: Multiple flights of stairs make most units in this complex inappropriate for older or physically handicapped individuals. My recommendation: Have the rented condo's golf cart in position at the rental agency for the guests to have free transportation to the condo on arrival, or provide a free van ride.

We have been coming and staying here for about 7 years. This Condo has wonderful views and is very peaceful. The veranda has amazing sunsets. This has been our favorite spot to come each year. It has internet, nice rooms, a good golf cart. It is where we got married, so it holds a special place in our hearts. I would have rated this 5 stars but the beds are worn out and springs stick up through the mattress the last 3 years. We also had issues with the unit fans not working this last year and other items in the unit. We have let the management know but no changes have been made. We purchased several items for the kitchen and left them each year (knives, glasses, openers, etc.) Last year we decided to try another unit. We are sad to move on but the unit is not being kept up for what it costs to rent.
Thank you for your comments. We have spoken with the owner of this villa and they have addressed these issues. The ceiling fans have been replaced or repaired and the mattresses have been taken care of.

The Villa was spacious, comfortable, and you could tell the owners had pride in their vacation residence. We brought a cooler full of steaks and hamburgers, and the barbeque just outside the front door was put to great use. The WiFi was an appreciated bonus enjoyed by the kids. The above amenities more than make up for the fact that the Villa is tucked away from water, making he ocean view rather cropped. Nonetheless, we would stay here again.

We enjoyed the stay and the decor. Very clean and tidy. The view was excellent. The barbecue on the deck was not operating. Loved the pool and other facilities. Check out time of 10 am is a little unreasonable considering the kitchen and garbage needed to be dealt with.
