Hamilton Cove Villa 13-43 - 3 bedrooms - 1.75 baths

We were thrilled to see Catalina Island thriving, clean and welcoming! From the Taxi ride to getting checked into the Hamilton Cove Condo was a breeze. The Unit was great, services expediant, golf cart a big big plus! Beds comfortable. Should have had beach towels, better kitchen equiptment but all in all it was great. Next time we will stay a week!!

The unit was just as it looks on the internet. It was spacious and accomodated the four of us very well. We loved the patio and lounging with our coffee in the mornings. We were able to grill dinner when we wanted. The only negative I can comment was the cleanliness. On first look, it seemed okay, but it really needed a good cleaning. Maybe sat in between rentals and got dusty that way?? Maybe need to freshen up when someone is coming in. The thing we were appreciative of was the fact the Ferry did not run the first day we were supposed to check-in due to inclement weather, but they worked with us and extended another day at the end so we got all 5 days that we paid for. The golf cart was fun for us also and we spent some of every day back in avalon. Great people, great shopping and really good food.

First time we've taken a vacation with our older boy and twins + grandma. We had a wonderful time, if you don't need to eat or shop, you almost don't even need to leave the compound. Everything was easy and the condo was just beautiful as was the view. Would recommend definitely for adults, kids had a ball too. the floors were a bit dirty so would recommend socks at all times, the kids and our feet were pretty black after a while, only negative i can think of.

We were at Catalina for our daughter's wedding, which was also held at Desconso Beach. The affair was wonderful, the condo was wonderful, and the weather was wonderful!! Expensive, but worth it!

Everything was great. The condo was beautiful, clean and comfortable. Beautiful views, quiet and airy. Loved it. There are stirs to go up and down to getto the condo, but only a few. This would not be for anyone with a walking disability.

This condo is very large, and has a great view. However, some of the furniture seemed dirty. The golf cart really only accomodates 4 comfortably, and you need it to get everywhere. The condo is not within walking distance of the shops, restaurants or activities.

This is a gorgeous condominium with delightful views of the ocean. The beds were very comfortable and the area was quiet. The furniture is comfortable and the condo is quite spacious. The third bedroom could use a TV. The kitchen was fairly well stocked. I did find it odd that there was no toaster or toaster oven. We had to make toast in the large oven on a cookie sheet. Our family really enjoyed the 18 hole putting course and playing tennis. It is nice to have all of the equipment (golf clubs, etc.) provided at the guard shack. The first night of our visit, the refrigerator was not cold enough, and the staff immediately provided us with a small electric cooler for the night. They checked back with us in the morning to make sure our fridge had begun to work sufficiently, which it had. I was disappointed to find there was not any laundry detergent at all, and I had not bought any in town. All of the condos I have stayed in previously that had a washing machine provided a small container of laundry detergent to start you off. This is an inexpensive amenity that would be helpful to add. The location is quite a distance from town, and steep to get to because it is up the mountain. Since this condo sleeps 6 people, a 6 person golf cart should be provided for the convenience of a family traveling all together. Making several trips up and down the mountain to get everyone to town and back again in a 4 person golf cart was extremely time consuming and tiresome. Upgrading the golf cart would make the cost of the condo much more worth it.

We spent 3 days in 13-43 and had a wonderful time. The master room is crazy big with an awesome view. The 2nd room isnt as big but the view is just as awesome. The boys stayed in the 3rd room and could care less about a view! Our golf cart was broken when I first arrived. I called Denny and he had a replacement out in 20 minutes. He got it fixed and had it back to me within a few hours. Nice Job! 13-43 is close to beach, pool and golf putting course. We all had a great time and will be back to 13-43 again.

We loved our stay & our view. It was very comfortable for a family. Since the condo accommodates 6, a larger golf cart would have been appreciated.
