Vacation Rental Summary
This location has a wonderful view and is very well equipped. I just wish the rental agency was more professional. We had booked three units from them, prepaid and sent in all of our paperwork to be told that they had not received any of our paperwork including the credit card form. This made no sense as we all three had been billed for the units on our credit card. When I brought this to alma's attention she could not explain how all three credit cards were charged with out our paperwork. They seemed very unorganized so much so when we picked up our keys they said we could stay in our units until noon. We decided to take advantage of this and changed our boat reservation to a later one. At 10:00 we received a call from the agency asking why we were still in the unit. They said we had thirty minutes to get out due to another renter coming in that day. We were still in our pajamas at this point. It was the icing on the cake with this agency. I will not use their service again as they are a mess.
This Villa is beautiful and has everything you will need for a great stay. You have the golf cart for transportation which is so important and you can travel all over avalon and see everything. The view is so awesome. We spent one fantastic week here and loved every minute of it. We even did a couple loads of wash. We ate out most of the time but did BBQ, get pizza and Chinese. The food on the Island is all so great! We'll be back!
We had our full family of 17 together for five days and four nights in three adjoining units (1783,84 and 85) The place is breathtaking...As my one daughter said: "It's like being in Greece, only Greece is more run-down!!!" Everything went smoothly. The staff were all very helpful and did things and brought things to us when they were promised...most appreciated. The accommodation was bright and beautiful and it was wonderful that the children could move around on the three adjoining balconies, and we did not have to worry about them getting lost. There was plenty of room for them to play either together or apart. A special thanks to Corina who helped me organise which units would suit us best. She was so right!!! with all her suggestions We couldnt have been happier, and look forward to returning again, either all together, or in smaller groups. My only disappointment was that the beach only has stones, no beach sand...so bring swim shoes. You need them to appreciate the lovely ocean. Lots of us played golf on the putting course, as well as volley ball, swimming in the pool, and soccer...no lack of fun things to do, including paddle-sailing, kyaking and all swim sports, to keep everyone happy and busy.
Amazing two bedroom villa with a huge kitchen, access to a golf cart, basketball, pool, jacuzzi, croquet, tennis, etc. It was awesome! Look for the family of deer that will let you hand feed them!
The villas we rented were beautiful...we felt like we were vacationing on a Greek island. Location was excellent ... with a panoramic view of the harbor. The only negative was having to check out so early (on the day of our departure...)
