This condo was taken care of for a rental. I would definitely request and or refer this unit to other vacationers... I love the fact that you feel like your much further away when actually your only 60 minutes from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

My husband and I really enjoyed our visit to Catalina, Ca and the accomodations certainly played an important role. The Hamilton Cove condo was very comfortable and situated to provide beautiful views of the water from both the living room and bedroom. The interior was attractive. There were quite a number of steps to climb so this location is not appropriate for disabled or older visitors. The washer/dryer are in a room just outside the front door for ease of use. Internet access was a must and it worked fine once the correct password was located. Our golf cart was in very good condition. The balcony is shared so it does not offer privacy but it does provide a view of the pool which is very close.

Our experience here was amazing! The unit was clean and very nicely decorated. The views were insane! We had a large deck off the master and living room with unobstructed oceans views. The golf cart was great and gave us easy and quick access to avalon shopping and dinning. We are definately coming back!

We heard of Hamilton Cove from friends and we are so glad we did! We read all various reviews on line of the different condos and different rental agencies and we are glad we did our research. Our unit (2-31) was stunning - beautifully appointed and with the beautiful ocean views everyone else raves about. It really did feel like you were in the middle of the Mediterranean Ocean. Phil, the agent at Civr, was super nice and the whole rental process went very smoothly. I highly recommend the location and this unit!

This was our first trip to Catalina Island and I am so glad we stayed at Hamilton Cove. The view from 2-31 is beautiful, and we enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching the dolphins and sea lions. The unit is furnished beautifully. Just be aware that there are many steps up to the unit. Having the golf cart was great for exploring the island and getting into town. We borrowed putters and croquet equipment from the guard shed, and enjoyed playing on the croquet and putting courses. Also spent some time in the jacuzzi and pool. We will definitely return! Due to weather, the boats did not run on the day we were supposed to go home, and we appreciated the call early in the morning from Civr alerting us so that we could get reservations on the 8am for the next day. Then we enjoyed being "stuck" on the island for one more day!

We love Hamilton Cove Villas and have stayed before. This unit, 2-31, was a one bedroom/1 bath. The furnishings were nice and the kids loved sleeping on the sofa bed but not very comfortable for adults. Not enough towels in unit (there were 6 when there should have been 8, 2 per person) the BBQ on deck was not in working order & desperately needs to be replaced & there was only enough dish soap to run the dishwasher once (and we were there 5 days so needed more) so I called and spoke with Civr manager, Larry, and he came out to personally hand deliver more towels & auto. dish soap.) He made arrangements for us to share our neighbors BBQ but we found out later that our neighbors were told, when they checked in, that it was a "shared BBQ" & had to share with us...when it was supposed to be theirs only. We were not very excited about having to pack up and be out by 10 a.m. so I called and asked Larry if we could possibly check out a bit later but he said that there would be someone checking in that afternoon so was not possible. We just got home and I checked the calendar/availability & come to find out that no one was actually checking in for another week...grrr! Gee thanks Larry! I guess I imagined that with the towel, BBQ & dish soap incidents that they might have given us a couple extra hours but not the case. Next time I will probably rent from the actual owner & not through Civr as an actual owner will most likely be more apt to accommodate you if possible. P.S. You need to service your golf cart. I know most carts are pretty stinky...gas fumes and such but this one was making us feel really ill.
