Vacation Rental Summary
I stayed Hamilton Cove for the first time with my family. It is a beautiful complex and the Condo was perfect. (although the pull out bed wasn't the best) Otherwise it your best bang for your buck especially since it comes with a golf cart that would cost you $60 per hour in the city. You have a full kitchen and balcony with a great view and the kid's loved the pool and jacuzzi. we will most likely stay again at Hamilton cove but I might look at other Condos with less stairs for this one is about 60 steps down and 60 up everytime you want to venture out and with a 2yr old it can be difficult.
We enjoyed our stay at Hamilton Cove so much. Our unit was beautiful and the view was absolutely amazing!!! There were a lot of stairs but we got used to it. The only negative I have is the sofa couch. My son stayed with us and ended up putting the mattress on the floor. Maybe if the sofa were newer, it would be more comfortable to sleep. Other than that, the unit was clean and spacious. We did have several issues with the golf cart but Civr gave us a loaner and that was fine. The pool was beautiful. I would definitely recommend this unit to anyone.
My fiancé and I chose Catalina for our get away vacation to celebrate our anniversary. We found the Hamilton Cove Villa on Homeaway.com for a great price, so we decided it would be perfect for our trip. We were more than pleasantly surprised by the helpful and kind staff and the gorgeous view from the villa. When we had questions or needed assistance help was only a phone call away. Staying at the Hamilton Cove was like a home away from home, we could've have asked for more. We loved the view, the private beach, the décor, the workout room and sauna, also we can't say enough about the staff. We had a wonderful time and we are for sure going back soon! The only tough thing were the stairs, there are a lot...if you or someone in your party has a physical disability, it could be very difficult to navigate the stairs. Other than that I can't think of a better place to stay in Catalina!!!
Other than the tears in the outdoor seating (and I mean deep tears) and the sinks that didn't drain that well, it was a great place. Large kitchen with everything you could need, and the view is to die for. The balcony doors off the bedroom were the best feature, and the reason we picked this unit over others. Falling asleep to the sounds of the waves and waking up to that view was worth every penny.
