Hamilton Cove Villa 2-47 - 1 bedroom - 1 bath

We loved this unit. The only complaint is the sofa sleeper was really uncomfortable for our small children. A air mattress would have done the trick. We'll still be back.

First off, this was our first time renting a condo/home in Catalina. It was an easy transition with reserving online and following up necessary paper work prior to arrival. The rental company was quick with check in. I would have to say I think myself and my family would have expected a little more of a welcome and guidance since this was our first time doing this, and myself and my family were staying in an area that never knew that existed. Our room was in Hamilton Cove. It's a short ride, but a little expensive with one way taxi ride for about a 1-2 minute drive, and never consistent with pricing. The room was really nice, quiet and clean. We had a stroller, so thankfully there were not many steps to our room. Plus we were able to leave it in the golf cart that comes with the rental. The bed was comfortable, and the pull out was a little rough, but it's a pull out. Liked the bathroom, and the toilet being closed off on its on. I will say this is more of a couples room, because there is not much privacy with the bedroom and the rest of the condo. The view was amazing. The biggest downfall is lack of privacy, due to the windows not having some sort of curtain or blinds to close at night, and anyone can walk around the patio section and have clear sight of 90% of inside the condo. I wish it had a BBQ, also. The privacy was an issue when waking up in the morning to people mowing lawns, walking around the patio, and whatever else they were doing. I would rent this room again, simply because of how easy it was from the gold cart to our room, and the view was amazing. This is a corner unit, also! There is no bathtub, just a stand in glass shower with a seat but has plenty of space.

The view from this unit is incredible! Our stay was fabulous, lots of great memories made there. Would definitely return. The bed was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. Loved having our morning coffee in the sun, out on the deck, watching the dolphins, sea lions birds, and boats go by. Having a golf cart was a real treat, for getting into town and sightseeing. The place is well-stocked with kitchen utensils, spices, towels, etc. There are games, books and puzzles. You can connect to the internet, but there is no cell phone reception. They do provide a phone. The location of this unit was nice, as it's on the end, and not too many stairs. The pool is heated and the jacuzzi nice and hot. There's a great work-out room with an amazing view. The price is good for the amazing place you're staying in! Well worth the money!!

Phenomenal view! place is clean, bright, nice and not too many steps. Great amenities, beach and view. Comes with golf cart. Would love to stay there again. Booked through Catalina Island Vacation Rentals and they are great.

This was my second visit to the condo. What a place! If you want a ocean view this is it! Having the golf cart is also a plus. There are many places to explore on the Island and the cart was a fantastic way to see them. This unit is also close to the street. Which means a lot less steps you have to walk. You will find yourself relaxing on the balcony watching the dolphins go by.

The mattress in this unit is amazingly comfortable! I should've checked the brand, I'd love to get one for us at home.

We had a wonderfully peaceful stay at Hamilton Cove, even with 2 kids! We really like having this place out of town we can retreat to in the evening. The views are incredible and we saw a huge pod of dolphins swim by in the morning, moving down the coast. At night it was quiet and in the morning it was beautiful to sit on the balcony and enjoy the morning breeze.

We absolulty loved Hamilton Cove! Villa 2-47 couldn't have been nicer! It was very clean,neat,comfortable and decorated very tastefully! It had available everything we could have wanted or needed. The view was amazing! I loved the location (just a few stairs) and a very nice golf cart!! I loved being able to see down to the private beach from our room. Beautiful! We have been coming for over 30 years for vacations. This is the first time staying in Hamilton Cove and now we will never stay in a hotel again! We couldn't have had a better experience! Love, love, loved it!!!

Hamilton Cove is beautiful. This unit was so so. Not a lot of stairs. The parking brake on the golf cart did not hold. It was cold the whole weekend. We were told to turn radiant heat on, wait one or two hours. I had it on max the whole time, never warmed up. The freezer didn't work. The unit itself is large and nice enough. Needs paint. We told Civr on Saturday about the coldness and they were not real interested in talking to us. I would have gotten up and asked how the stay was and if they could be of help. They were not busy and still didn't give much time to us. If I was the owner of the unit, I would like to be told about this. There is internet, bring your computer, no wireless. No cell service at all. There is a house phone you can use to make long distance calls.

Hamilton cove was great and the unit was perfect for what we were looking for. Clean, easy to get in and out. Golf cart was awesome. Even in offseason we loved it, would go back. liked the snorkeling, mini golf and tennis and pool/spa.
