This well cared for vacation home is the lower half of a duplex located approximately 2 1/2 blocks from the green Pleasure Pier and downtown Avalon. It is a one level home with three bedrooms and 1 1/2 baths. The first bedroom has a queen bed, the second bedroom has two sets of bunk beds, the third bedroom has a queen bed, and the living room has a double sofa sleeper. In addition to wireless internet, you will find a very well-equipped kitchen with a large family dining table next to the kitchen. The living room has a 37-inch flat panel TV and a DVD player. No smoking, please.

This vacation home rents on a nightly basis (2 night minimum, holidays and selected dates excepted; 3 night minimum mid-June through Labor Day). Rates subject to change and may vary by week. Rates do not include one-time cleaning and linen fee, 12% City of Avalon occupancy tax, and processing fees.

Thank you CIVR for making everything so easy to rent a property on your beautiful island. I traveled the last weekend of February (thank you for having stellar weather while we were there, too!) with 6 ~ 16 year old guys. My son turned 16 and wanted to take his brother and 4 of his close friends to his favorite place, Catalina Island! We drove 4 hours from the Central Coast of California, got on the Catalina Flyer and headed on over. We arrived hours earlier than the 3:00 check in time, but the wonderful staff in the office, where I picked up our keys let us go right over and get settled in, THANK YOU!!! It was a lovely lower duplex, 316A Catalina St. 3 blocks away from shopping, town & everything. The boys could come & go even at night, very safe. The duplex was very spacious, clean and comfortable. We just loved it! My son's 2nd request was "The Ghost Tour" which we also did and it was pretty cool too! Until next time, Cheers from Arroyo Grande, Ca!

My three sisters, I, and our mom stayed here to celebrate Mom's 90th birthday. This house only has a few stairs to get in and Mom could go anywhere in the house without any problem. The house is old but very clean - had everything we needed including lots of towels. Bunk bed where I stayed was comfortable. Location is fantastic! Two short blocks to the trolley stop, tour bus center, and a grocery store and another block past that to the Main Street and pier. Company very friendly and easy to work with allowing us an early check-in so we had a place to put our luggage.

We have been renting 316 Catalina for over 15 years, it's "our" reunion place. My friends since 7th grade go every year no cooking, laundry just good catch up time. Short walk to the town where you get great food and libation . So don't tell anyone.

My family and I had a great time at this cute little house! Pros: The Vons Express grocery store is down the block just a short walk away, as is the beach. Extra toilet in the washroom. The dining table easily accomadated our entire family of 8. There was a RadioFlyer wagon on the side of the house that we towed the kids all over the island with. A small charcoal grill. Previous tenants left food staples that came in handy, we did the same. High end washer and dryer. Quiet location. 3 Playgrounds in walking distance. Lots of towels. Nice TV. Free Wi-Fi. The rental company was great (CIVR). TV in kitchen. We would stay here again for sure. Downers: no A/C, very, very, very filthy carpet.

This is the first time I've rented a home instead of staying in a hotel, but I would certainly do it again with this large of a group. Although well used the place is extremely clean. The kitchen is fully stocked with even some of the basic staples included in the refrig. We were even able to BBQ one night - the BBQ is a basic Weber, so it was great for hot dogs and burgers one night. My mother uses a wheelchair to get around. There are two steps as you go in the front door which she was able to navigate fairly easily. The rest of the house was easy for her to get around. I will look into renting a golf cart for her next time. This unit does not come with a cart. The "kids" room had a double set of twin bunk beds. It worked great for the 4 boys - the only thing to watch is there is an exterior door in that room. Very easy for the older kids to sneak out. The windows didn't all lock - but that wasn't much of a worry. These houses are close together. You can hear all the activity out on the street at all hours and can hear your upstairs neighbors if they walk heavy or snore. Even though we did hear our neighbors it didn't seem to bother anyone. This house is on the main street coming up from the pier - so the location is great. Easy access to the beach, quick access to all the main shops and restaurants - close to the grocery story and you can walk up to the golf course as well.
