Welcome to Hamilton Cove Villa 4-12!

This spacious two bedroom end villa with a fireplace has been totally transformed into a luxurious vacation home. Everything is new (2013). All stone tile floors, bathrooms and wood burning fireplace surround, all new kitchen cabinets and appliances, granite counter tops in the kitchen and bathrooms, and all new furnishings. You'll find a 46-inch flat panel TV above the fireplace in the living room, as well as a 32-inch TV in each bedroom. Throw open the French doors that open to the balcony from both bedrooms and the living room in this villa, so you can enjoy the fresh ocean air and the views. Villa 4-12 is a quick walk to the clubhouse, pool, spa and croquet court. Only 36 steps to the road where your golf cart is parked; a total of 1,469 sq. ft.. H412

Rental of a vacation home in Hamilton Cove includes use of the community’s amenities (pool, spa, health club, 18-hole putting course, tennis courts, croquet court, sand volleyball court and beach area with built in barbecues and picnic tables). Some restrictions may apply. Occupants subject to Hamilton Cove Homeowners Association Rules & Regulations.

This vacation home rents on a nightly basis (2 night minimum, holidays and selected dates excepted; 3 night minimum July & August).

There is no air conditioning available for this property.

Great location, fantastic having the convenience of a golf cart in which to get around the island, lovely views and close to a few of the island's main activities. If you're sensitive to noise, bring ear plugs as the balcony runs the length of your next door neighbour's property. The accommodation is very large with dedicated spaces to dine, lounge etc. The downside is that the furnishings and furniture is tired and old fashioned but all in good working order. Our family enjoyed our first trip to Catalina very much.

The stay with Catalina Island Vacation Rentals was great! The airbnb was a beautiful condo with an amazing view of the coast. It felt like we were on the Amalfi Coast! Amazing property. The rental provides you with a golf cart that seats up to four, which was very convenient to get to the town. It was about a 15min golf cart ride, but the location is also very close to Descanso Beach where you can zipline, kayak, paddle board, and more!! Would love to come back to this place for another vacation in the future!!

We had never stayed on Catalina before so we were a little nervous about this rental especially considering there were no refunds. But the place is nice! Beautiful views! Nice energy here! And you get a golf cart for your transportation needs.

Only issue was that there were Ants, but they were very responsive in setting out and giving us Ant traps. Also, the front door was hard to unlock.

My wife and I stay at Hamilton Cove every year. October is always the month we visit Catalina as we're avid Jazz Festival lovers. Overall the villa was nice and comfortable. Beautifully decorated. Loved how large the rooms were and the beds were comfortable. The shared balcony was GREAT as we had friends that stayed in the condo next door to us ~ PERFECT! The golf cart, GREAT! A few things to report and perhaps consider.... The TV didn't work, was unable to get any channels or music. One of the large eyelets on the stove was inoperable. The dishwsher didn't work. Owners may want to consider touching up the paint in all rooms. Lots of dings and scuff marks on the walls.

Beautifully remodeled with one of the nicest golf carts we have received with Hamilton Cove rentals! Would give this property a perfect 5 but the ocean view is obstructed.

Only 4 flights of steps up to the unit, which is pretty good at Hamilton Cove.This unit is 2bed with King beds, but has a blow up if you need to sleep another person

Stayed here with my family for three nights Jan 2018, total of 5 people. Overall, it was OK. Be aware that even though it says it sleeps 6, there are only 2 beds. I thought the other bed would be a sleeper sofa. It was not. After lots of looking, we found an air mattress in one of in one of the closets. It turned out to be a twin which was a little tough for my 6 ft son. Overall, the place just needs to be updated a bit.

I highly recommend any villa in Hamilton cove over the old buildings and overpriced hotels. Definitely the way to stay on the island unless you are camping or know locals. Gorgeous view, quiet, remote enough but close to Descanso Beach (small but chill and also beautiful, great music). Amazing villa with the giant tub in the master suite, also a giant shower :)

We had a fabulous time. The view from our balcony was amazing! We had everything and the use of a golf cart was really terrific bonus. Would love to come back again. A wonderful vacation!

Spent two nights at this condo and it was so wonderful. Brand new kitchen, nice large bedrooms, and the golf cart which was included was perfect. First time at Hamilton Cove and we loved it. The condo and the grounds, pool, beach were GREAT. Will be back for sure in the near future. Only one small thing was that the kitchen had no dish washing soap~maybe an oversight with the cleaning person~but other than that it was a perfect little vacation spot! Plus the rental company was so nice and let us check in early as my grandson needed to nap before the regular checkin time.

The condo was very nice and relaxing the shared balcony was not an issue like I thought it was going to be. Having the private area of Hamilton cove enhances the experience cause you have a place to escape the crowds and have quiet time yet you can hop in your cart and go into town and enjoy the crowds when you want. the only slight problem I had was the maintenance crew popping up randomly I was in my boxers in the living room and then suddenly at 7 in the morning there was some dude on the balcony. that happened to me last year as well I understand they have a job to do though. also I would recommend hitting the sidewalk areas with a power washer but I also understand that catalina is going through a severe drought. my stay there was wonderful me and my friends had a great time that we wont soon forget.

We loved this condo -- beautifully decorated, and everything you need is available to you! Great location, easy to get to. It's obvious that the owner wants his renters to be comfortable! We will rent there again if we get the chance!

On the cab ride in, as we stopped at the entry gate to Hamilton Cove, a worker asked where we were staying. Unit 4-12 we replied. He said that we would love it, and as we pulled away, we heard him remark to the guard - "That place is bad-*ss". We weren't sure what he meant, and we laughed. When we opened the door, and looked around, it was clear this was not a typical Hamilton Cove rental. Some of the units we've stayed in benefited from renovations, this was way beyond the typical refreshing. Absolutely everything was new, lots of marble, beautiful cabinetry, gorgeous tub/showers, nice furnishings, TV's in the living room and each of the two bedrooms, and done very tastefully. Both bedrooms are very spacious, the 2nd bedroom is as spacious as most masters. As other reviews point out, there are some obstructions to the view, but you can see the ocean over and between other units. Unlike other units though, there are views out of each of the bedrooms, as well as the living/dining areas. We cannot wait to return, and felt this was a bargain, when compared to the cost of a pair of hotel rooms in Avalon. The reviews posted in 2013 reflect the current condition of the unit, the reviews posted in 2010 (or earlier) are prior to the renovation, and are out of date.

We stayed in unit 4-12 with another couple and had a very nice stay. Pros and Cons listed below: Pros - The Villa was decorated beautifully. There were two bedrooms and both had King beds, which was very nice. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well equiped and having the golf cart to get around Catalina was so much fun. Cons - Limited view, 38 steps to the front door, no fans, it was so hot the weekend we were there and there were no fans to be found in any room of the Villa. With no airconditioning, and the price you pay to stay in this Villa, I would very strongly suggest the owner buy some fans. Over all it was a wonderful stay, and the owner has done a great job at making the unit very comfortable. Personally the limited view, the steps and no fans would probably encourage me to try another unit on our next trip.

Absolutely lovely. Luxuriously appointed. Professionally decorated. Amazing. Even better than it looks in pictures. When we arrived in Catalina it was the end of a three week summer vacation in which we stayed at two other very upscale vacation homes (near Bryce Canyon and Zion National Parks, Utah) that were very nice. This was the best!!! We never wanted to leave.

Last minute we decided to try to rent a condo instead of a hotel. This was a great condo with lots of perks in the community: pool, golf, tennis, golf cart, exercise room, laundry in unit, plus a beautiful view. The only downfall is that the beach is not really a good beach to go to. Very rocky and not much sand. For us, we are use to being right in town so that was an adjustment as well. Overall, I would like to go back if we got a good deal like before.

Great stay, secluded. Golf cart a must. Beds were on the slight side--not sure how to sleep 6 people unless you count the couch and bedroom beds were small--seemed like full size and not queen. We enjoyed ourselves and the amenities. Tell people to bring putter for golf course and rennis rackets as they aren't in the units.

This is our 5th year renting from Catalina Island Vacation Rentals and we can not say enough about this company. They are so service oriented that other companies should use them as an example. We stayed in unit 4-12 for the first time and found it terrific. It was plenty big enough for family of 5. The location is terrific and close to the pool. I would recommend it. The Weins

My family and I had a wonderful experience. We will be back. You made it so easy. We took the Express and then got a cab who took us to get the keys. The drive up was so nice. When we got to the home it had everything we wanted. The golf car was a great way to travel around.
