Our family of seven enjoyed a 3-day stay at the Casa de Corona in Avalon. The house is just as it is pictured on the web site and has everything needed for cooking in and spending time with your group. It is up a hill on Whittley Street, so there is a bit of uphill walking involved, but it helped us work off the yummy food we ate. The bedrooms were comfortable, although the curtains in the master bedroom were sheer, so the light from the next-door neighbor’s motion sensor light shone in every time it was activated, and it made for early rising when the sun came up. The garage has beach chairs and sand toys available. The kitchen is well stocked with everything needed to prepare meals, although the coffee maker should be replaced, as it didn’t work very well. The 3 bathrooms made it easy for everyone to get ready, although the showerheads make the water come out in a trickle (I don’t think this is just to conserve water). I would stay here again in a heartbeat, it was the perfect spot for our family vacation.
