Excellent spring vacation – Jun-25

We had an exceptional family Spring Break Vacation at the Mermaid House! This was the perfect house for us to show our Norwegian exchange student the magic of Catalina Island. The house is perfectly located within a short walk to anywhere downtown including restaurants, activities, the harbor, shopping and a grocery store. The house is very clean and comfortable. We read past reviews and would like to update on the state of the flooring. The house had recently had all new flooring installed in the downstairs – very nice! And the upstairs carpets were very clean. The house is spacious and well stocked with games, movies, and cooking. It is also just a very short walk to golf and a little longer walk to the Botanical Gardens. CIVR staff was very helpful and informative! They checked in on us and provided us with helpful information on activities and things to do. We will absolutely look to stay at the Mermaid House on our next trip to Catalina!
