Good for disabled *VRBO GUEST* – Sep-19

We were looking for a house that would accommodate three people and a relative who has difficulty walking. This cosy cottage met most of our requirements. The biggest asset is the front porch that faces a busy street. This enjoyable addition kept our guest entertained while we were taking advantage of the many Avalon attractions. This porch is so close to the sidewalk that many pedestrians smiled and waved at her and a few even engaged in casual conversation. We ate all our meals outside at the large table provided there. Our other concern that this property met was that a bedroom and bathroom had be on the bottom floor, and that there was easy access into the shower, as opposed to stepping into a tub. Although the furniture in the living room was old and uncomfortable, they were covered appropriately and the cottage was charmingly decorated. A land line phone is available in the upstairs bedroom which was very convenient as cell phone service is sporadic.
