The layout and pricing make it great for a family or folks traveling on a budget. The shotgun design of the house (LR+kitchen –> BR –> BR –> BR with no hallway) means individuals don’t get much privacy, as the first two bedrooms must serve as a pass-through for the master bedroom. While less well-appointed than some other houses for rent on Catalina, the basics are all there and the tradeoff is a lower rental price. And the amenities and atmosphere provided by the town and island are the same regardless of the structure you’re sleeping in. Please note that the sole table will only seat 4, making group dinners difficult.
