Great weekend-Great Hamilton Cove Condo! *VRBO GUEST* – Aug-18

We had a magical time at Hamilton Cove and are ready to head back! The condo was decorated nicely and it felt very spacious. It had all that we needed and was really clean. The view was amazing! We loved the patio and spent a lot of time gazing at the ocean. My only complaint is that the king bed was very uncomfortable and the couch was as well. Everything else though was great. We traveled here in the off season and even thought it was a little chilly and the water was cold, we loved that the island was not crowded! It was really peaceful and relaxing. We enjoyed our time at the complex in the hot tub, pool and gym. We walked down to the little beach and even saw some dolphins. The putting range was cute, but we found the golf clubs in the closet too late to use them and didn’t see a croquet set, we would have liked to play on the green for that! We used the golf cart every day, which ran pretty well. It seemed a little older and at times we worried if it would start, but it didn’t give us any problems. This complex is within walking distance of town, but it would be a long walk, so the golf cart is the only way to go! We did the local food tour, which was fun and we enjoyed a day kayaking and relaxing at a cabana at the beach club. Our family really enjoyed the ropes course as well! there was a lot of fun shopping and the food was really good. We loved every restaurant we went to! We would really like to go back again and would choose this place to stay at for sure. I think it would have been such a nice perk if the gold cart was waiting at the rental office and if we could have drove it down/back from there for check in and return vs. a taxi, but it wasn’t that big of a deal, $20 each way.
