Mermaid Castle was the perfect weekend getaway for our group of 8 (two families). One of the only free-standing homes at Hamilton Cove, this place was far beyond our expectations. MC is impeccably designed and decorated and had enough room for our two families to spread out and not feel like we were on top of each other. The three floors of this home are all peaceful and quiet and when you’re on one floor you cannot hear what is going on on the other two. There are ocean views from every bedroom of this home and there is quick access to the community amenities such as the beach, pool, and tennis courts. Getting into town was a breeze with the included 6 passenger golf cart, which could be enclosed for the more chilly nights. It was easy to get to town for meals, but the fully stocked kitchen also made it easy to make meals at home with a quick trip to the grocery store. The kids loved all the details of the home with included board games, stuffed animals and everything you need to keep them entertained, including beach toys and tennis rackets. If you are looking for a more upscale stay with lots of room that also feels like home, this is the place for you!
