Pleasantly surprised! – Apr-23

I come to Catalina several times a year and have stayed at various Hamilton Cove condos based on my needs each time. I have a select couple favorites and this will now be added to that short list! This trip was for some well-needed relaxation and girl time for myself, my teenage daughter and my friend. The property checked all of our boxes! It was simply decorated (in a good way) with very comfortable furniture and great use of space. The layout was open and airy, it was quite clean, and it seemed recently renovated with modern bathroom fixtures and kitchen appliances. The balcony had ample seating options–all of which were comfortable–and the views from the unit were breathtaking (despite our unfortunate luck with cloudy weather). Though not mentioned on the property description, the unit has two large and perfectly placed SmartTVs (living area and master bedroom) with plenty of streaming options. The kitchen was also very well equipped with good quality cooking and baking utensils, and plenty of essential and non-essential kitchen-ware (even a well-stocked spice rack!). Though the golf cart seemed to be older and really having to work to get up hills especially, it got us to and from town as we needed. The only couple downsides of note for me was there was no trashcan in the master bedroom/bathroom area (only in the second bathroom and kitchen) and the mattresses were a bit too firm fro our liking (and I like my mattress firm!), but I feel like that is splitting hairs at this point. We look forward to being able to experience this condo again in the future!
