One of the finest homes in Avalon with panoramic views from three sides of the magnificent wrap-around deck. Families and couples only. This is a quiet neighborhood. A perfect home to enjoy the view or hang out by the electric fireplace. Three stories-gourmet kitchen, living and dining rooms, one bedroom and bath on top floor, and remaining bedrooms and baths on lower two levels. Restored early 20th century interior. Nearby is a public stairway with 123 steps leading down to the City Park. 176MT

This vacation home rents on a nightly basis (2 night minimum, holidays and selected dates excepted; 3 night minimum mid-June through Labor Day).

As promised, the view is spectacular! There were plenty of bedrooms for 9 people and bathrooms were clean and had plenty of towels. The only drawback was having to take taxis into town & back for activities or going to the beach. The kids could go up & down the steps however. And the view was worth it!

This home was wonderful for our group. We had family and close some family friends stay for the weekend during the JazzTrax festival for my dad's 70th bday. The home has absolutely stunning views. The kitchen was fully stocked with tools and pans etc, and the stove and oven were great. I baked and we cooked for the duration. Extensive spice cabinet and pantry items that we definitely added to. :) The home is easy to get in and out of with keyless entry. Great airflow. We spent the majority of the time out in town or on the deck. The 160 stairs to middle terrace can be daunting if you don't have golf cart but our whole group embraced it and got all our steps in and then some on this trip. We rented a cart for luggage and groceries and walked the rest of the time. Thank you!

We loved the large deck with amazing views of the harbor and island. The basement with all the rooms is a bit dated, but kitchen was removed. Plenty of room for 8 adults.

We rented this home to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary with our immediate family. While at the house, we spent most of our time on the deck enjoying the stunning view. The pluses are plenty... the balcony is probably the stand out here. Great spot for breakfast, cocktail hour, dinner, and just hanging out. It does get hot in the afternoon. Plenty of room for blended family of 9. Great location with an outstanding view. Kitchen has very nice upgraded appliances

Our family of ten found the perfect home for our recent weekend on Catalina Island. Up on the mountain overlooking the city and bay, we soaked up the views, whether eating around their large table inside or out on the porch above all the action. The house lent itself to quiet areas for the adults to sit with their morning coffee and chat, along with spots for the kids to play inside before we all walked down into town after breakfast. Check in and out was very easy. House was large and worked well for a group of 8. Kitchen had all necessary kitchenware to cook at home. Bathrooms had plenty of towels and some soap and shampoo for use. View was beautiful and deck was very nice.

The entire house is fantastic but the view is truely amazing. When we were at the house we were all on the deck relaxing with panoramic views of Avalon. Plan your trips to town well as the stairs are long and you will be a little winded after the walk up. Also, we were visited twice by a deer and her fawn in the mornings - I'll send some pics later

We had an amazing stay, the house had a great view to the ocean, the kitchen had everything we needed. It had a very cozy living room and an amazing outside table with heaters. There were plenty of blankets and rooms had heater in addition to AC. Walking distance to all attractions, the beach and groceries. I totally recommend it for a family and friends get together.
