323 Clemente - Avalon Home

Welcome to this two story family home with a large deck at the front of the home on the second floor - a great place to dine outside. The house has been completely remodeled in 2019 and features new flooring, brand new kitchen with quartz countertops, new cabinetry and appliances. The home has CENTRAL AIR AND HEAT.

The first floor offers an open floor plan for the shared living area - living room with a 47-inch flat panel TV, dining area with a glass top bistro table and four chairs, and a galley style kitchen and three bar stools for grabbing breakfast or keeping the cook company. There are also two bedrooms and a full bath on the first floor. Each bedroom has a queen & twin bed. The bath has 2 doors, so guests in bedroom 2 don't have to walk through bedroom 1 to get to the bath.

The second floor is one large suite with a sofa, love seat and 48-inch flat panel TV in a living area, king bed and a twin roll-away bed, full bath, and a kitchenette area with mini-fridge, cabinets, microwave, sink and toaster oven. Sliding glass doors in this master suite open onto the large deck, where you may sit outside and enjoy the mountain views and fresh sea air. 323CE

This vacation home rents on a nightly basis (2 night minimum, holidays and selected dates excepted; 3 night minimum mid-June through Labor Day).

Great location. Close to downtown and Vons. It is located at an intersection so there is a bit of golf cart noise, but it wasn’t too bad

We loved everything about this house. We are a group of 4 adult women and there was plenty of room for us to spread out and each have our space. The house is very cute, clean and functional. The upstairs suite with balcony was our main hang out place. We enjoyed our coffee in the mornings and our wine in the evenings on the balcony. The kitchen had everything we needed although we didn't do much cooking. But it was nice to have a coffee pot, a microwave and a toaster oven in both the main downstairs kitchen and the upstairs kitchenette. We loved the décor of the house, especially the old time pictures of Catalina that lined the walls of the little hallway. The house is in a convenient location - an easy walk to Vons and all the shops and restaurants. We look forward to staying here again next year on our "girls" trip.

This property was perfect for our family of 7. The location was so close to town and the updated bathrooms and kitchen were clean and functional. We walked almost everywhere. The stores and restaurants were all following Covid Protocols for LA county. We took the Conservatory tour in an open vehicle and it was very fun and educational. Would definitely recommend it! There is a great little snorkel/mask/wetsuit rental company close to where you exit the boat...the water was cold so the wetsuits made it much more fun.

Enjoyed our stay close to beach, playground, market. House clean and comfortable plenty of beds sleeps at least 8 comfortable. Although older house everything functioned properly. Had a great time

the property was overall a great home to stay in for the weekend with a balcony, close to the beach & all restaurants just a short distance of a walk there.

only little issue was the balcony chairs were torn and ripped. but other than that everything is was perfect, would go back for another vacation in the same home.

We rented this home to attend a family wedding. My husband and I stayed upstairs and our adult children stayed downstairs. This arrangement worked very well. This home was clean and well furnished. We found the beds to be comfortable but the pillows were broken and flat. We had plenty of towels in the bathrooms. Like just about every home in Avalon, this one has its quirks...the stairs don’t have much headroom, but the offending projection is well marked. The upstairs outlets were not working so we had to rely on the bathroom lights for illumination. Fortunately, we were attending wedding events at night so this didn’t really affect our use of the space. The back bedroom downstairs can only be accessed thru the front bedroom or the bathroom. This house is located at an intersection used by tour buses and golf carts to access the road up the hill so it was a bit noisy during the day. However, we found it to be pretty quiet at night. We enjoyed the large deck. We did not cook but the kitchen was clean and had everything we needed to make coffee and reheat leftovers. It would be nice if they provided a second coffee maker in the upstairs kitchenette. I brought the coffee maker upstairs since we are early risers, and then moved it downstairs and made coffee for the younger folks who got up later. Overall, we agreed this rental worked very well for us and would stay here again.

Had very enjoyable time at this property. My daughter & 2 youngest grandkids loved the upstairs. Us "older" folks loved the downstairs. The neighbors were so friendly. Enjoyed watching the deer on the hill every evening making their trek. Will definitely rent again. The office staff were so helpful on answering any questions I had as well.
