Welcome to Hamilton Cove Villa 3-19

Spectacular Villa with drop-dead gorgeous ocean views from every room. New refrigerator and gourmet stainless steel small appliances throughout the kitchen. Living room has a wood burning fireplace, floor-to-ceiling ocean-view windows, a large flat screen TV with Tivo/BluRay and queen sofabed (sofabed was replaced in Feb'19). Open the French doors to the private ocean-view balcony, which is now the "outdoor living room". The master bedroom now has a Cal-King bed and a second large flat screen TV. There is an additional sofa sleeper available for extra sleep. To top it all off, enjoy the limo golf cart and free wireless Internet. Welcome to the new Villa 3-19!

Rental of a vacation home in Hamilton Cove includes use of the community’s amenities (pool, spa, health club, 18-hole putting course, tennis courts, croquet court, sand volleyball court and beach area with built in barbecues and picnic tables). Some restrictions may apply. Occupants subject to Hamilton Cove Homeowners Association Rules & Regulations.

This vacation home rents on a nightly basis (2 night minimum, holidays and selected dates excepted; 3 night minimum July & August).

There is no air conditioning available for this property.

Beautiful and spacious condo. Extremely clean! Would not find a better view anywhere! Incredible views from every room. Wake up to the beautiful sunrise from the master bed every morning. Very quiet and serene. Kitchen was well equipped. Golf cart came in handy! Five stars ~ most definitely!

This condo was amazing. So clean, beautifully decorated, and an expansive view of the ocean from every room. Many times I just sat on the sofa for hours and watched the ocean change and the storms roll in. Magical. Everything I needed was here as well. Highly recommended. I couldn’t have enjoyed my stay more.

This place is amazing! I would have given 5 stars, but: when I opened the oven it reeked of fish, as did the dishwasher. They were fine after and ran them. Just expected more for the price.

Hamilton Cove Unit 3-19 is the only place we ever stay when we come to Catalina. It's just perfect. The views are amazing and the unit is clean and nicely decorated. Highly recommend.

I stayed at this unit between Christmas and New Years of 2015. My wife and 2 kids enjoyed it immensely. We paid $265 a night through CIVR. First CIVR was very professional and prompt. Second the unit comes with a golf cart. It was a little worn but you need one to get around (no cars for tourists) and renting one by the hour in town car run $60 or more plus insurance. there were also 2 tennis rackets and a 2 putters in the unit for use on their tennis courts and mini golf course. A very clean updated unit with a great private balcony (not adjoined by another unit). Cable and WiFi. The bed in the master was a California King and very comfortable. Our kids slept on the pullout sofa sleeper. A beautiful view of the ocean from every room - was great for the full moon and sunrise. Heat worked well as did the fridge and microwave. plenty of towels. The common areas were very well maintained. We worked out in Hamilton Coves fitness center one day. My wife borrowed a book and my kids borrowed a board game from the club house. There is construction going on so inquire about that. Our Sunday morning on the balcony was peaceful. Our Monday morning on the balcony was loud with the generators and hydraulic air hammers going. We will come back as long as their is no construction going on.

This is the second place we've rented in Hamilton Cove and, to be honest, it's my favorite. I love the layout, décor, location and views (oh, those views!). I especially loved the private patio - many of HC's patios are "galley-style" and shared with the adjoining condos. It felt like an extension of the house - we'd have our coffee out there every morning and our wine in the evening. The bathroom had some mold on the outside of the shower, the sofas could really use a cleaning and the golf cart was a rough ride. I do wish the owners would supply beach chairs and pool towels - that would be very convenient. Need better quality sheets. Other than that, this place is perfect. Will book again next year. Ocean views from every single room.

We love, love, love Hamilton Cove and have stayed at a few different villas. First of all the rental company-CIVR is amazing! This villa had a few more steps than some others but not to bad, just a little hard going up with the luggage. When I first walked in I could detect a slight stale smell. I loved the spaciousness of the villa, and it was pretty private compared to some other locations...which we loved about it! The villa was a little dated. The king size bed was pretty comfy, and the amazing views were from every room including the bathroom. We loved the private balcony, and spent most the time on the cozy outdoor sofa watching the boats and the beautiful open view of the ocean. The only thing that I would personally like is a bar height table for two on the patio instead of the extra loveseat, so you could see over the rail. But other than that it is a beautiful villa, and we had an amazing time as usual.

We havent been since last October (2013). We stay each October during the WONDERFUL JAZZTRAX jazz festival! VIEW - Perfect, and in EVERY room (including bathroom)! AMBIANCE - Absolutely perfect! AMENITIES - Bring your own groceries (stop at the local Vons on the way up) and you'll never need to leave! From HDTV, to Wi-Fi to indoor laundry, and all the Oceanview you can stand and everything in between, it's all there. FITNESS - Pull yourself away from the unit and you have tennis, golf, swimming, an exercise room, hiking, or just a lovely stroll on the beach or Hamilton Cove grounds. TRANSPORTATION - If you must leave (Avalon is lovely. We leave for Art Good's JazzTrax down at the beautiful Casino ballroom:)), a golf cart is included (with every unit at HC) and fun. Of course a taxi is always a phone call away but you won't need that until it's time to leave the island. COST - It ain't cheap, but IT'S WORTH IT! Here's a tip, plan early and make payments

Hc Villa 3-19 is a spacious one bedroom with a private balcony. The condo itself was so relaxing, very clean, and tastefully decorated. The private balcony is definitely the way to go when renting at Hamilton Cove. We were able to see almost the entire community from our patio. View of the ocean, evening sky, and lights of the mainland were outstanding. The way the unit is set up, all windows face the ocean and nobody could peek in our windows which made it feel very private. View of the ocean from every room, including the bathroom! Since the patio is private, there aren't any other guest/residents walking by so we could sleep with our windows open all night. It was terrific. The golf cart is new(er) and runs great. Easy to drive and park around avalon. The owners of this condo keep it up very well. We were two adults staying here - no kids - and the amount of space was perfect for us. Well stocked kitchen for cooking, including a food processor and a Foreman Grill. There is an iPod charger/player/radio dock for music, new HD TVs, hairdryer, and pretty much every kitchen gadget you could think of. Really enjoyed this unit. Also, everyone at Civr was so helpful and friendly from the moment we made the reservation all the way through checkout. Appreciated being able to check in a little early since we arrived earlier than planned. Late check-out was no problem for a small fee. Well worth it to have that last day to relax on the patio. The location is good for people who may not be able to handle a ton of stairs. There are about 25 steps going to the unit, down from the street, and it would be very exhausting for someone with a cane, walker, or very senior/non-active older adult to go up and down the steps. We saw a lot of units with triple the amount of steps than our unit had so we liked the location immensely. We could hear people huffing and puffing on the stairs near us.

stayed 4 days while attending the 2012 Jazz Festival and loved the accomodations. This is our 4th unit rented in Hamilton Cove and thought this location was one of the bests. The kitchen was stocked with everything we need, nice having the laundry facility right in the unit and loved the privated balcony although would have liked access to the balcony from the bedroom. The golf cart was ok but definately could have used a little upkeep.

We has been staying in Hamilton Cove Villas for the past 5 years. And for the past three years we have rented two villas for additional family during the fantastic JazzTrax weekend. This villa was suggested by Chay from Catalina Vacation Rentals. (thank you) We found it to be amazing! The decorations, soaking tub, location & private balcony decor & view, breathtaking. Having access to storage, kitchen items, indoor laundry room was a definite plus. The masterbedroom awesome. We want to thank the owners for managing a beautiful & well maintained villa. It's nice to know there are still owners that want their renters to feel comfortable & at home during their stay. We will definitely rent this villa again next year:-)))

This was our second rental in Hamilton Cove through Civr. The first rental was 2-28 which was great (2 bathrooms was nice) but it was rented this time so we rented 3-19. Loved it! Very clean and updated. Bedroom with (comfy) king bed and large (2 sink) bathroom. Kitchen had what we needed to get through the 4 days. There is a pull out sofa which wasn't working, but there was a aero bed that was easy to use and my kids didn't complain. The walk (down) the stairs was easy ... walk up from the pool a good cardio exercise (100+) but the golf cart spot is at the top of the stairs, so no big deal. The best part by far (and better than most other units) is the private balcony. No sharing a balcony (our friends had their next store neighbors walking back and forth across theirs (?). And there is a beautiful set up furniture with of course a million dollar view. This is great for 1 couple + 2 kids. 2 couples would mean someone gets to sleep on the blow up bed though.

This place was amazing wonderful, spacious interior. The view was incredible. We spent most of our vacation sitting on the outdoor patio! Highly recommend this unit. Will stay here again. Would recommend the unit get a Kerug coffee machine. I brought my own knowing they did not have one. Also, pull out bed in living room was not comfortable at all. Would be great of they had a foam mattress topper available in the room to put on top. Could not have slept on it more than one or two nights.

The views from the patio are incredible. Kitchen was well stocked with most any utensil you may need for your stay. The golf cart was a great asset for runs into town and sightseeing around avalon. Nice picnic area in the lower section of Hamilton cove with basketball court and volleyball area. We will definitely consider returning for a future vacation. You will not be disappointed.

This was our first stay at Hamilton Cove. My husband, myself and my two children stayed for 4 nights in unit 3-19. It was a beautiful unit and very spacious. The patio was wonderful and the views were awesome! The golf cart was perfect for us- we had a blast cruising around the island. I would highly recommend this unit to anyone wanting to stay on Catalina!

We have stayed in Catalina several times and this is the first time staying at Hamilton Cove. Our room was beautiful, spacious and clean. The views were amazing. Every room had windows facing the ocean. It is a little ways from town, but our rental came with a golf cart (which that alone made it worth spending the extra money to stay here) The company that manages the property were extemely friendly and helpful. I work in property management and so I can really appreciate the customer service they provided us. I would definately stay here again, and this room specifically.

We loved the balcony so much, we even slept outside among the stars one evening! We stayed on this property for a week after our wedding for our honeymoon and just absolutely loved it! We're looking forward to returning. The staff on the phone and via email was great as well. I'm not sure if we are taking care of by the same people in person as we are electronically. The employees in person at the office though had a bit of an attitude. The only service complaint I would have is you have to figure out how to get Hamilton Cove without your golf cart because they have all the carts parked at the property. It was such an inconvenience trying to get a weeks worth of stuff from Hamilton Cove to the dock without the golf carts because you have to leave them there when you leave. Having a Hamilton Cove shuttle would have given this company a perfect score.

As soon as our taxi dropped us off, we knew we would enjoy this location. Then when you open the front door...all I can say is spectacular views! They don't get any better than this unit 3-19. There are views from every room. I loved waking up with the view of the sunrise right from the bed. We very much enjoyed morning coffe on the outdoor lani and also having our evening wine there. The only thing we wished for was a BBQ. We love to cook, but we did fine. The added plus was having the golf cart to go all over, what fun that was! Although it did need some maintenance. We are definatly looking forward to returning sometime in the future.

We have been traveling to Catalina for the past 12 years every February. For the last 6 we have stayed in Hamilton Cove. This is the second year we have stayed at 3-19! Although all condo's are awesome (view, stay, golf cart, activities, etc.) this Condo is By-far our Favorite!!! I highly recommend as a a week/end away with a loved one, or a girls weekend out! The place sleeps 4 comfortably and is extremely peaceful but stocked for entertaining as well! We will continue to visit this condo for this years to come! Thank you!!!

I must first highly commend and thank Civr for providing great customer service. Our ferry was cancelled the day we were scheduled to check in, but Civr understood and let us move our reservation back a day. We were so appreciative that they were willing to work with us. A huge thanks to the great staff there!!! Now, this villa was excellent! The Hamilton Cove location was great because it was so quiet and very private. The views from every window were phenomenal!! It was a cute property that was well cleaned and a perfect size for our romantic getaway. Only about 20 steps to the front door, and the golf cart that came with the property was fun and made getting to town easy. I would go back here in a jiff!

My wife and I, and our two kids arrived Catalina Island with hopes of having a great vacation. Once we walked into our villa, we knew we would have memories of a lifetime! First of all, the view could not get any better. To start our day on the balcony with a cup of coffee was paradise! The villa was well furnished and amenities in the kitchen and throughout the home was plenty. The golf cart that was provided with our villa was great and without it, the trip would not have been fun. Not to mention the money we saved using it instead of a taxi. Our trip to Catalina was better than we expected and we will definitely be back!

The best vacation experience ever. Check-in was a breeze, the condo was bigger and better than we expected. The private balcony was wonderful, although I was told that people are generally very respectful of each others space on the shared balconies, we didn't want to take the chance on that, as we were looking for a quiet time. One stop at Von's for a few items and we were good for the week. We used the coffee maker, the microwave and the George Foreman grill and all worked perfectly. At first I thought the blinds would not be to our liking, but as it turned out, we loved being awakened by the gorgeous sunrise each morning. The condo had every amenity except laundry detergent- but who would want to spend any of their time on Catalina washing clothes? On this trip, we played golf, took the Blanche W to Two Harbors for sunset, saw the flying fish, took the bus tour of the interior and saw lots of buffalo. Would recommend armstrong's catch of the day (they are closing in October), the bacon at Jack's, and the tacos and margaritas at the Sand Trap. Awesome getaway ! We watched the moon rise over the water from the bedroom. Very romantic. We have recommended to several friends. Ask for Phil @ Civr. Great Customer Service. He even gave us a lift to HC and saved us the co$t of a taxi ride. When is the last time you had great customer service ? It's rare these days.

My wife and i stayed in Hamilton Cover Villa 3-19 for our mini-moon! We couldnt have asked for a nicer place. Much better than a hotel. It was like we were at our vacation house. The views were spectacular and the weather was just as good. Stay in this unit!

Unbelievable views,luxurious comfortable condo home. Civr staff went above & beyond & every detail was easily handled. My girlfriend was involved in a real estate transaction on the east coast while we were there and Civr staff helped with fax & email to her realtor. We are so grateful for all their help and will be contacting them for a return visit soon!!! We stayed at Hamilton Cove and Dove & snorkled right at the private beach there, enjoyed the pool & spa and felt very much "at home". The best was the night sky view from the balcony, so many stars!! Can't wait to return.

OMG. My bf and I came for a weekend of relaxation. We couldn't have picked a better place. First of all, I can't say enough good things about Catalina Vacation Rentals (CVR). They were beyond nice accomodating for both an early check in and late check out. This place was so much bigger than I had imagined. The pictures really don't do this place justice. We spent most of our time in 3-19. Just a few stops at Vons and we were set! Thank you soooo much! We can't wait to return!!

My husband and I have been going to Catalina Island for jazz for 5 years now and this was our first year staying at Hamilton Cove! We will not stay anywhere else from now on. First off I must say that the folks at Catalina Island Vacation Rentals make it sooo easy. Check in and out are a breeze. Oh I'd say it takes all of 1-2 minutes to check in and about the same to check out, if that! They are very friendly, quick to respond to needs etc. Now about our unit. Well, a view from every room including the bathroom is a good place to start! A private outdoor living room was just about my favorite place. Every night after the concert my husband and I sat there, had a glass of wine and just reflected...sooo nice! Not all of the units have a private balcony. Everything you need is in the unit! All kinds of modern cooking gadgets, flat screen televisions with blue ray, energy efficient washer/dryer. I just can't put everything here but trust me (we've been to plenty of nice places), this is a great place to just relax and take a load off. Very romantic too of course! We have to get tour the lovely grounds next year but we were so pleased with the unit itself that we didn't get out very much! Lovely decor and you can tell the owners take pride in their place. Beautiful unit. Great amenities! Love the use of the golf cart. Will probably never stay in avalon again. Quiet, peaceful. Only negative was the TV system was a little difficult to figure out - simplify or leave detailed instructions. Staff was very attentive. My daughter left her beloved teddy bear behind. The staff quickly found it and sent it to us!!! Thank you!!! We loved our stay @ Hamiliton Cove and the unit was beautiful!

Wife and I stayed with our daughters (9 and 5) at 3-19. The place had a view too grand for words. The condo had every amenity we needed and then some. Coffee on the patio overlooking the blue Pacific. Cooked a meal and had a family dinner overlooking the blue Pacific. Snorkeling on Descanso beach. Zip-line tour. Fresh seafood. Sunrise from the mountanous mainland over the water. The golfcart that comes with the rental was so cool. Grocery shopping at Vons. Taking pictures of an island in the sun. Swimming in the heated pool (it gets cool at night and early day). Truely, unbelievable! Not bad for a fireman and his wife from Missouri.

3-19 is very well furnished especially when compared to units that other family members were staying in. Nice patio, great view, inside laundry, and only one flight of stairs to the front door. Golf cart was one of the largest and appeared to be new. Only negative was that it did not have a BBQ on the patio, but that aside this unit is a '10'

My husband and I were very impressed with 3-19. When we walked in, we both were amazed at the spectacular view. It was better than I had expected. Every room was beautiful. The outdoor furniture was perfect for relaxing and enjoying the view. It was quiet, peaceful and very romantic. I have shared the pictures of 3-19 to all our family and friends, and now they can't wait to go!

Our stay at Hamilton Cove & on Catalina Island was simply perfect! Checking in was very easy. Catalina Island Vacation Rentals had everything ready! Checking out was also simple. Our cab driver picked us up promptly & returned our keys for us! Saying that we were blown away when we walked into Villa 3-19 is an understatement. It was breathtaking...the views are amazing & the villa was spotless & very tastefully decorated. We loved the furniture! The kitchen was well stocked with everyday needs & utensils. The ipod player was also really handy. We thoroughly enjoyed walking & driving the golf cart around Hamilton Cove. Taking advantage of the clubhouse gym, pool, & putting green was also a highlight. The thing we liked the most about Hamilton Cove & Catalina was the laid back atmosphere. You truly feel like your in another country. It's nice to escape the hustle & bustle of city life. The golf cart was also a blast!! The only recommendation that we had is to possibly add a second light blocking shade in the bedroom. The shades provided are lovely but block very little sunlight. And for those of us with little ones at home...it's nice to sleep in an extra hour while on a "mommy & daddy only" vacation! ;-)

The recent remodel transformed 3-19 into a perfect pick for a weekend getaway. Everything is new, from bedding and towels, to brand new Sony 1080P big screen LCD TVs, free DSL wireless and a LG blu-ray player (which is setup on the wireless so you can watch YouTube videos), with local digital cable. All the complaints about the unit prior on the reviews have been completely fixed. 3-19 would be a bit of challenge for families with toddlers because of the owners items in the unit, the deep bathtub, etc. So just be mindful that the unit isn't the best for kids under 2 unless you want to spend all your time hovering over them.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in 3-19. The remodeling and renovations were a lot of fun - love that bed and those appliances in the kitchen. We've sampled several of the Hamilton Cove units, but I can't remember one with better views. Those TV's were great, too, and we go great personal service to help us when we had trouble with a TV. I would suggest some instruction/information sheets to help out future visitors.

 This home is perfect for a couple to get away for a weekend. Not only do you get to use the amenities of Hamilton Cove, there is a golf cart that goes with the property (a coveted item for anyone going to Catalina!) We loved the home we stayed in and suggest it for anyone looking for a place to stay on Catalina. Hamilton Cove is a perfect spot because you can go into town for dinner or nightlife yet escape the party attitude and go back to your gated-community. For anyone with a boat, there are also moorings right off of Hamilton Cove, allowing you to dock your tender at the Hamilton Cove dock and have your boat right outside your doorstep (depending upon the time of year) THe only downside to Hamilton Cove is that the Catalina Island Rental office is located in-town. Make sure you go there before paying a taxi to take you up the hill. There is no office on-site to help you once you are up there. Overall, the property AND the surrounding area is beautiful. You will not be disappointed with the combination of serenity and ability to go on expeditions from Hamilton Cove.

Loved the size and location of this particular villa. Have stayed at Hamilton Cove Villa's before at a different smaller unit and preferred this one. The views were spectacular and the villa was nicely furnished and very comfortable. My only complaint would be the complimentary golf cart that came with this unit. It was very small and extremely finicky and slow - to the point of being dangerous at times. I know a golf cart is considered complimentary, but it really is a necessity if you stay at Hamilton Cove, otherwise you would be stuck at the resort unable to enjoy Avalon. Also, the cab fare to get from the boat to Hamilton Cove was around $25.00 - highway robbery!! I think that a complimentary shuttle should be provided for the guests of Hamilton Cove to get from the boat at arrival and back to the boat for departure. The cost to stay here is quite expensive compared to other locations and it is worth it, but a complimentary shuttle would make me more likely to return in the future as visitors should not have to pay so much just to get to the resort. We will definately go back sometime in the future and would probably request this same villa if they have a new golf cart by then.

We live in LA, so Catalina is easily accessable. We had been trying to get away from our busy schedules to just relax and enjoy, somewhere close that felt like an actual vacation. We had just that. Catalina is beautiful, peaceful, and the locals are freindly. Last time we visited was during the summer and stayed in a hotel. What a refreshing change this time was. Off season,and staying up in Hamilton Cove was wonderful. A large beautifully tiled apartment, where every window had an ocean view. We cooked and ate on the balcony in the ocean breeze. The villa has a jungle theme, nice but, a little overkill on the decorating, stuffed wild cats and all. Hamilton Cove is beautifully landscaped and cared for. We had fun hiking around the area. My husband and I were extemely pleased. We promised to do this more often, and are highly recommending this to freinds. Great getaway for fellow Californians.

This was our first time staying at Hamilton Cove. Everyone had a great time. We loved the views, the pool and Jacuzzi were great, and so was the golf cart. The condo we stayed in was large and clean however it had a lot of stuff (knick knacks) in it. We were worried the kids might break something. We will definately come back again, but look for a place that is more kid friendly.
