Welcome to Hamilton Cove Villa 8-92

Kick back and enjoy the full ocean view from this delightful villa with a bonus alcove area and beautiful decor, including carpet in the bedroom and new tile flooring throughout the rest of the property. There's a small, private side balcony with a grill for barbecuing plus a common balcony off the living area, which offers incredible ocean views. The master bedroom has a King size bed and there is a Queen size sofa sleeper and wood burning fireplace in the living room. Plusfree wireless internet. One of our finest villas! Only 4 steps to the road and a total of 990 SF.

There is no air conditioning available for this property.

Rental of a vacation home in Hamilton Cove includes use of the community’s amenities (pool, spa, health club, 18-hole putting course, tennis courts, croquet court, sand volleyball court and beach area with built in barbecues and picnic tables). Some restrictions may apply. Occupants subject to Hamilton Cove Homeowners Association Rules & Regulations.

This vacation home rents on a nightly basis (2 night minimum, holidays and selected dates excepted; 3 night minimum July & August).

We have stayed in Hamilton Cove many times over the years. This is our favorite 1 bedroom unit in the development both because of its beautiful location immediately overlooking the ocean and also because of the small number of steps from the street. Also, CIVR is a wonderful rental company.... we had a couple of minor housekeeping issues needing correction and they were dealt with immediately and efficiently.

This place is wonderful! Absolutely enjoyed the layout and space. Location: Best on the island, private gated community, this particular unit more easy to access vs others in Hamilton which have ton of stairs. Views: Panoramic of the ocean, so close the wave noise is constant. Balcony: Large long-ways and private. Interior: Perfect layout, bathroom is quite large, raised up kitchen was nice. Grill outside worked perfectly. Golf Cart: Perfect 4-Seater

This place is simply wonderful! The view is stunning and the access to the golf cart made everything so easy to get downtown. I only wish the windows in the bedroom opened to get a nice sea Breeze when it was hot. Other than that the accommodations were clean, perfect sunrise view and we were on the balcony enjoying the sun so much! Would definitely go back to this place.

Location is perfect! Gorgeous views and large balcony are the perfect spot to catch the sunrise and enjoy a glass of wine in the evening. Unit was clean and overall very comfortable for our family of 2 plus a 17month old. We will definitely be requesting this unit for our next stay

It was our first time ever in Catalina, and it was AMAZING!! The view from the balconies were spectacular to say the least, the house was gorgeous, very inviting, the people are very friendly, the golf cart was the icing on the cake, sooo much fun!!! we highly recommend Hamilton Cove if your looking for class in a private setting.. We give it 5 stars, WE will be back again.. THANKYOU!!!

Our stay was wonderful. Our room was great, with a wonderful view of the ocean. If I have any complaints it would be the sofa bed in the living room. The metal bar was very uncomfortable for my son and his wife. Also there was no propane for the BBQ. The only reason I didn’t call and ask for some, was the burners were so badly caked with grease and charred food, that I seriously didn’t think It would work, even with propane.

My husband and I stayed here for our 40th anniversary. Villa is exactly as pictured and so is the view. We arrived late to Catalina on ferry so stressful to get to office to pick up keys but others on the ferry were like us. We immediately bought groceries at Von's after taking a taxi to condo. Taxis have fixed rates and are very familiar with Hamilton Cove. We made meals at villa. Loved sitting on the deck, beautiful. We grilled out also one night. Rug in bedroom could probably be updated but I really had no complaints. Outside the villa across the hall is a washer and dryer and umbrellas and chairs for beach below. Used pool and jacuzzi . Would stay again. Loved Catalina.

 My husband and I stayed here last spring and we had an amazing time! This condo includes a big clean bathroom, a bedroom with an ocean view and comfy king-size bed, plenty of seating in the dinning/living room area, and (most importantly) the balcony. We spent most of our time relaxing on the balcony, enjoying the view and sipping mimosas! My husband and I enjoyed cooking in the fully stocked kitchen and BBQing on the balcony. Also included is a golf cart which we used daily to shop and sight-see. This is a one bedroom unit, but there is a pull-out couch in the living room if needed for another person/children. We're already booked for another weekend getaway this spring and I've been recommending this place to all my friends and family!

This unit (8-92) is our favorite Hamilton Cove condo. My wife and I live in Long Beach just a short boat ride away so we try to get over to Catalina three or four times a year. Although the island is close to home it definitely has a more relaxed atmosphere and feel to it. Great for extended weekend trips. Hamilton Cove itself is outside of town and is a gated community so it’s not so touristy busy. In fact, in the off-season is downright quiet. It’s built into the hillside and is like Mediterranean villas. We have stayed in a number of the other Hamilton Cove condos, but we always try to come back to this one. The view is breathtaking, not to high up and not too low down. You can see the ocean from every room. There are two French double doors from the living room and the alcove that go out onto the balcony. There is also a door from the master bedroom that leads out to the balcony. We always throw open all the doors as soon as we arrive so the balcony becomes part of living space. This condo is an end unit and we very rarely ever see anybody on the balcony next to it, so it has a very private feel even with all the doors open. Also, as an end unit there is a second small private patio (with a barbecue). This one has a fireplace which we didn’t get in most of the other condos. We noticed that the kitchen appliances and living room furniture were recently upgraded. The kitchen is outfitted well for cooking. One of the best things about this unit is the number of stairs. Hamilton Cove doesn’t have elevators. Some of the condos are literally 100 stairs away from the road. Carrying luggage and groceries up or down 100 stairs gets old fast. This unit only has four stairs (4!) to the road and is only about 20 yards to where the golf cart is parked. The golf cart use is included in the rental. This unit’s golf cart is much newer than most and even has a car stereo in it. It seats four so the trips to and from town are pretty comfortable. We were there mid-September 2016 and already have it booked for another trip in January 2017.

It was a bit of effort getting to Catalina, but the second we walked in the door made it all worthwhile. This condo has amazing ocean views from every room. The furnishings are newer and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped (and there's a BBQ outside!). Very relaxing, comfortable place. Saw a bad review posted. They must have been in a different place. No missing bathroom mirrors, no holes in the walls, no lumpy mattresses, and the golf cart seems newer and ran fine (it even has a car stereo built in). Hamilton Cove itself is amazing. We are here (as I write this) in early December and the place is relaxingly quiet. Taking a walk around the grounds yesterday, I only saw one other person in about a half hour. Laying in bed right now (not lumpy), doors to the balcony open, beautiful sunrise and sound of the waves crashing below. Oh yes, I would recommend this place and I am already trying to figure out when my wife and I can come back.

we have been going to Catalina for at least 20 years and mostly have rented houses in the village. This year we wanted to try something different, and decided on Hamilton Cove. We were overwhelmed with the beautiful view from this Villa. We were also fortunate not to have fog so that we watched the sun rise every morning, and the full moon rise every night! The unit was furnished very well and was very clean upon our arrival. We most definitely will be back

We were very happy with this condo. It was clean, up to date, and perfectly situated. We had a good sized bedroom and our young kids had a queen sleeper sofa. There was also a sleeper loveseat, which was a nice option when we realized our kids no longer want to share the same bed! We were a building away from the pool, and we overlooked the volleyball court, bbq pits and small beach area. The golf cart was new and reliable. We were just a few steps from our parking, which made the luggage in&out very easy. It was about 80 steps down to the beach/volleyball/bbq area - easy down and you worked off your meal going back up! The rental office was efficient and courteous and responsive. I would definitely rent this condo again,

Overall, the villa was very nice & I had a great time in Catalina. The only thing that I would complain about is that I had trouble getting into the front door. It took about 20 minutes to get it open the first time. Then it took about 20 minutes again to get it open the second time. This time I had my luggage & groceries & didn't have any cell phone reception, so I was freaking out because I didn't know what I was going to do if I couldn't get the door open. After finally getting in & calling the emergency number to ask for help, I basically was told that it was a certain type of lock & it worked just fine. They never once offered to come & show me how to open it. I was so afraid that I wouldn't be able to get back in, that I considered not leaving the villa. Then I discovered the back door & since the keys worked on that door as well, that is how I had to get in & out during my entire stay. Again, the villa was beautiful, but it was a bit annoying that I couldn't use the front door. It wasn't even the fact that I couldn't get in the front door, but it was that they totally brushed me off when I called for help. They basically said that the lock worked & oh well. They never even called to check up & see if I was able to get in after that. It might be a little helpful if they tell people in advance of this problem & at least suggest that they can use the back door to get in. This caused a lot of panic at first because I thought I wasn't going to be able to go anywhere. I hope you take this into consideration for future customers. I know I'm not the only one who had this problem, because the guy on the phone said that I was the third person to call & complain about the locks that day. I would have given a 5 star rating had I not had the issues with the door. Thank you.

The unit was just as described and more...truly lovely, with a view to die for. Catalina has been our vacation choice for many years now and hopefully for many more to come. The only knock I could give it would be the service...nothing wrong with it, just not the special personal touch we had come to expect. We'll be back!!! Oh, and not to be missed is the Casino tour: Unbelievable!

An exquisite view, beautifully appointed and very comfortable surroundings. Easy entry with only 4 steps from the road, and about 10 to the golf cart. If I could recommend anything it would be a tune up on the golf cart as it seemed to produce quite a fuel\exhaust smell when driving.

the condo was clean, kitchen was well stocked (pots, pan, dishes, etc.). Fireplace was very nice on cool evenings. Unit is advertised as a one bedroom but bedroom closet is owner locked so you get the entry closet (only). Washer and dryer were first rate and view was first rate. We'll be back.

Unit 8-92 was perfect for us! We took a gamble and bought our 22 month old and we could not be happier with the experience. The condo was very nicely decorated and there were only a few "breakables" that needed to be moved to higher ground. There were 2 DVD players which made entertaining a toddler easy. Best of all, there were only 4 steps down to get to the unit from the road. My only issue was that no one ever told us that we needed to be out by 10:00 a.m. We were half way across the island trying to get gas and did not get back to the unit until gone 10:00 since the main road was closed. But, I wouldn't call that a complaint and it certainly is no reflection on the unit itself.

We were quite satisfied with the location within Hamilton Cove. We were pleased with the cleanliness, the furnishings , the privacy and the views. The only thing we had difficulty with was the condition of the golf cart. The tires were quite bald and needed a tune up.

We have rented this condo now for 2 years in a row, and we have booked it again for next year as well. It is very comfortable and has all the amenities you would need. The property also is well maintained and has a nice pool and jacuzzi, also a nice 18 hole putting course. We also like the fact the it has a 24 hr. guard gate for added security. It also comes with a golf cart, which is needed to get around. The Cart needs some TLC. such as new tires etc. Another plus is it only has 4 stairs to get to it. The View is exquisite.

I love Hamilton Cove. I have been coming to HC every year for the last 8 years. I found 8-92 a few years ago and it is my home away from home. It is comfortable, warm, beautiful and most important... the best view in the complex!!! I love it so much that I come to the unit in July and in august.

We rented Hamilton Cove unit 8-92 for the week of Thanksgiving 2009. We were a part of a wedding party with three additional units. All of the guests felt we hit the jackpot in the unit lottery! This unit is very conviently located and the furniture and decor are both lovely and comfortable with ALL the amenities you could hope for in a vacation home. This unit has a large balcony with two additional units shared. We were lucky to have no neighbors. Very comfy lounge furniture on the balcony just right for a dinner or cocktail party for an easy 15 to 20 people. The kitchen is fully fully furnished to make even a gormet cook happy. Excellent large gas grill on a private side patio was a real plus. Typically we don't want to be up for sunrise on vacation but OH what a georgeous sunrise each day. We have photos that could be postcards, they just don't look real their so beautiful. Catalina Island Vacation Rental was wonderful to work with. Would be nice if they met you at the ferry with keys for the considerable price of the rental units and had your golf cart on site so that you didn't have to search for your unit but alas, they do not. Their office is easy to find but the excercise (not near the ferry terminal) seemed unnecessary with bags. I can't imagine staying in another complex that did not offer a golf cart at your disposal and just outside your door. It is a significant drive into Avalon and I can't imagine calling one of the few taxis everytime you wanted to visit town. Avalon has very limited grocery shopping so do take any gormet items with you. You can spend a day shopping, golfing, exploring the island and on the beach. We would have been happy to have had a day to simply relax in the unit. I can't say if there are any activities offered by Hamilton Cove as there were none we were aware of during our stay. It was considered off season. We were very thankful for friends on site for dinners and events. Lovely

Me and my wife loved the Villa, view, and people. We had a great time. The pictures didn't do the place justice. We had a wonderful time. My wife loved the large bathroom. We will will be back !!!

We enjoyed our time on Catalina Island, and the condo we rented was Very nice, and well equiped. We would sugest that the owner has the golf cart overhauled or replaced, as it has a difficult time going up the hills. and with 4 adults in it, it won't make it. also the upolestering needs some repair.

We have stayed in this unit on two occasions and we really like the location and view. It is a very nice and comfortable place with an open floorplan. This is one of our favorite units to stay in, but it could definately use a new dining set, new bar stools and new carpet. These things have white fabric, so they are impossible to keep clean, and they were not clean. Other than that, the bathroom is very nice and large, the bedroom is nice, we love the balcony and the small alcove is a perfect place for the kids to play. Hopefully, these few things will be replaced the next time we come, then we can give it a 5 star rating.

The property was clean and well maintained. The Hamilton Cove area & its beach was very private and away from the crowd and the noise which was great! Only thing I did not like was a lady who was staying on the property next to me coming over to scold us for hanging our towels on the balcony to dry. Give me a break!!! There were over 30 towels hanging all over the place. I thought it was ridiculous and none of her business where I hang my beach towels. Otherwise, the rented property and the view was great! You can see so many stars at night whichw as amazing. I will highly recommend it.

 This villa was really great for our family of four. It was well equipped and nicely decorated. Views from windows and balcony were superb. With a stroller and lots of luggage to carry, one of the biggest advantages of this unit was the lesser number of steps (only four) to cover before reaching the door. My children enjoyed the music keyboard in one corner. The golf cart was really helpful in driving around town.

This was recommended as a honeymoon suite and that is exactly what it was!!! Beautiful views, a great kitchen, a great barbecue, and a golfcart made for a wonderful time! Can't wait to come back.......

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful condo. We found everything we needed and more. A gorgeous view, a fully equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. We explored the island during the day and cooked fabulous dinners and enjoyed the terrace, the view and each other's company in the evening. We would love to return! Kevin & Debra

Arrived on a brisk and stormy Christmas day, lending to the festive feeling. We came prepared with the makings for a fabulous dinner as all the shops were closed for the holiday. Taxied up to the Cove and were thrilled by the spacious rooms, well stocked kitchen and blown away by the majestic ocean views. Our teenage daughter and her friend were delighted to discover how close the jacuzzi was to the condo. The space and layout were excellent for 4 people, the decor was very warm and inviting, overall we had a great experience. We plan to make this a tradition!~
