Ready to really immerse yourself in learning? Catalina Island is one of the top destinations in North America for scuba diving. Several local dive shops offer scuba certification classes you can take while on vacation.

Get out of town – The overwhelming majority of Catalina Island vacationers never even leave Avalon. Make a plan to explore the rest of the island – camping and hiking are two ways to get out of town. Two Harbors, on the Island’s remote West End offers a number of ways to explore. Book a vacation rental and experience the other side of Catalina.
