Avalon’s picturesque water front will echo with the sounds of one of Great Britain’s greatest bands on Thursday, July 23. The popular Catalina Summer Concert Series will feature a tribute to the Rolling Stones. For more than 50 years, the iconic rock band has been topping the charts and many of their top hits will be performed at the concert.
Sponsored in part by Catalina Island Vacation Rentals and Catalina Island Real Estate, the Catalina Summer Concert Series has become an Avalon tradition for residents and visitors alike. With several concerts throughout the summer, the series brings both original and cover bands to Wrigley Stage, overlooking Avalon Harbor.
There is no charge to attend any of the concerts, all of which are produced by the Xceptional Music Company, which works with the Catalina Island Chamber of Commerce to bring the concerts to the island.
The concerts feature dancing in the streets and are great fun for the entire family. A beer garden set up nearby provides over-21 libations both before and after the concerts. Additional upcoming concerts include:
